Hey @MinaJen and others – I believe that this episode makes the showrunners decision to put Sansa in Jeyne Poole's place, look better. I wonder if you agree. Here's my rationale.

at no point in the books does Jon ever get up and say something like the math he lays down one or two episodes ago — every Wildling we leave to die is another zombie soldier coming to get us later, so it's in our interests to not leave them to die. … Book Jon never says anything that substantial
I think that is a much better rationale than what happened in the books, which is based more on Jon being a dope.
I *REALLY* can't understand the Night's Watch guys being against it. The "thousands of years of history" doesn't apply to people who all got sent out there from their homes in the last 20 years.
The only problem I see there is that Patrick Stewart in real life might actually embody the masculine ideal even better than Jean-Luc Picard.

Agree that Peter Weir's best days are probably behind him. Dude is 70, have some respect.
Sounds great.
I've done that, and …
I figure if Littlefinger doesn't know no one outside of the Boltons' direct control knows, even other Northerners
I think Tyrion and Jorah take over Barristan's role as person in charge of shitstorm while Dany finds herself in the woods
the way the camera frames follows Bronn's eye line objectifies her in ways that the diegetic power play can't really overcome
Plus we'll get to see another Sandsnake!
She acknowledged from the beginning he was kinder than the others.
I'm still sore. I cannot imagine being in that much fresh pain and being remotely interested in having sex.
Roose has some dialogue somewhere in the books, where he "explains" why he didn't do anything when Ramsey murdered (poisoned?) Roose's trueborn son. I don't remember what the explanation was. Scared of Ramsey? Satisfied with having an obvious heir? Proud of the little chip off the ol' block? Something.
