Luckily Childless here: The Faber method just makes me think of Lipschitz from the Rugrats so I guess it's some sort of infant brainwashing technique?

I'm just saying that isn't a lot of character background so much so that her home city is a surprise. Other than throwaway mentions to family FitzSimmons both haven't had much light shed on their background but that's a matter of opinion.

Yeah I was gonna make a she's probably from Harrogate reference but didn't think the joke would work. My point more is that it's a character strand that hasn't been developed at all. So it comes across as manipulative when her home town is mentioned.

Simmons is from Sheffield? Bollocks, didn't know Sheffield was in the Home Counties.

Don't worry it's going to be a Jackie Jormp Jormp movie instead.

Seems like Jerry is slowly turning into my mother with his inability to understand phones. And that's why I no longer answer the phone around her. (Yeah, that's why)

I like how the Dalek/Skaro base was essentially a Mysterons base.

To be fair it's glorious. I hope the kid isn't too embarrassed by it. It's definitely cool to see voice breaking done that unashamedly on TV.

Bill Murray or if it's magical realist and we've a time machine then Jimmy Stewart, oh boying and cursing around the 50s.

Is that a pitch shift on The Goldbergs or is that some fortuitous/fantastic puberty/acting from Sean Giambrone?

Judy Greer sure does say "tits to the wind" fantastically.

Michelle Gomez monologues with gargantuanly glorious glee.

The AV Club

Damn if y'all aren't right about the framing of the Shep and Jess scenes. Both of the actors do phenomenal work as well.

Some cracking cuts in that episode. I'm specifically thinking of Gretchen saying she's not hungry and then cutting to her eating and Paul's O-face to a bear yawning.

I really like how at least two episodes in this season have opened with Rick just hanging around with Morty and Summer. He seems to be quite enjoying being a grandfather.

I tend to think the use of Where Is My Mind was indicative of what a high quality piece they're doing here. It's the most obvious cynical decision to use that and yet it's affecting and genuine in the moment. That's difficult to do and takes utter balls to pull off.

I've always thought maybe Bill Lawrence could be that for Dan Harmon. Keep whatever show he's producing on track at least.

Some old rooms and desktop themes would probably have to be sacrificed to fix the situation with a TARDIS.

All the problems could have been avoided with a time hoodie.
