I know this is an old thread, but where did this discussion of 8 foot lanes come from? The article mentions slimming 12 foot lanes down to 10 feet wide.

Yeah, it’s not like a feminist has ever made abortion a central part of her message, or claimed abortion to be about “a woman’s right to choose.” Connecting abortion and feminism? How ridiculous!

Drones are now a basic human right? Good lord, is there anything that isn't considered a right nowadays?

The headline is definitely pro-abortion rather than (merely) pro-choice, and by extension, presumably so is its author.

If they used less hyperbolic language, then we’d have space taken up in the comments by Android fans complaining about how biased Gizmodo is because they weren’t sufficiently negative towards Apple.

I guess I’ll just have to find another reason to keep on.

Nothing in that article supports the 80%+ claim.

Had you spent more than five minutes, you might have realized that your two links don't support your claim.

That’s my question: How do you keep this battery charged? Do you need to periodically remember to charge it, which seems problematic and likely to let you down when you need it? Do you keep a USB cable connected to a cigarette-lighter constantly? This wouldn’t be so bad, but it’s a little inelegant.

That’s my question: How do you keep this battery charged? Do you need to periodically remember to charge it, which

“I killed two puppies on the way to work this morning.”

First, I doubt many Uber drivers were putting in 100 hour weeks, but I’d love to hear your explanation for why those that did would do so for any other reason than they want to. Even with all the shady things Uber has done or allegedly done, I haven’t heard any reports of them pointing guns to drivers’ heads.

Yes, but we’re talking about the People’s Republic of Kalifornia, where the only logic you'll find is in a silicon gate.

Ah, I see where you got $450 from. That’s a jacket from a different company, using a different fabric, and not really the subject of the article, just something mentioned for comparison.

The Columbia press release says $150-400, which is price competitive with other rain jackets and shells. In fact, you can spend plenty more on a hard shell.

I wonder what they could get it down to in a minimalist-style jacket. I currently use an OR Helium II, which is adequately waterproof for my (modest, perhaps) purposes, but if you’ve got to wear a jacket for a long period of time, it’s not the most comfortable.

So it sounds like this jacket needs just two layers. Does this make it lighter? If so, this sounds like it could be the holy grail, but I don’t want to get my hopes up too much before the product makes it to the market and more people get a chance to test it out in the wild.

That’s even more than the pet rock guy!

I'm going to guess they were proud long before this.

I wish we’d see some innovation in whining about Apple.

How do you know if someone is an Android user?
