First - speeds should be lower in neighborhoods and city centers. I agree with that.

According to my coworker, her purchase of a giant vehicle was in response to everyone else’s giant vehicle, and her belief that such brawn would best protect her infant. And I’ve heard this from others, too.
I’ll catch heat for this, no doubt, but I’d definitely be in favor of only allowing trucks that are legit commercial vehicles in city centers--like construction and the like--not Bob driving his Ford Super Duty 350 dually to his office job.
It looks like someone spend a decent sum to buy a nice clean 944 and then another princely sum in bolt-in parts to play boy racer. I bet it’s spend minimal time on a track being wringed out, which is good (but means it’s probably not actually track ready) but if that bin of parts doesn’t include seats it’s probably…
Those Scheel shoulder harnesses are tied in a loose knot behind the rollbar instead of, like, actually bolting them down solid?
Right? Half the time the UPS truck would show up at your house and you’d pretty much forgotten that you ordered something. But man, it was a big deal when that brown truck pulled up to the house!
That’s about my experience in ordering my Ford Maverick Hybrid back in 2022...
can you imagine ordering something in 2018 and being told it may be ready in 2027?
If not that, we could least look forward to hearing “... we’re looking at Air Force One as it prepares to ferry the former President’s body back to Mar-a-Lago one last time”.
If I was Boeing, I wouldn't be in a rush to finish those planes while Trump is in power. What with his long history of stiffing contractors and all.
Boeing has no incentive to be shady. It’s a fat government contract for a custom plane and they’re being well paid for it. I expect it’s just as much of a pain in the ass to work on (given security concerns and the specifications) as they are claiming it is.
It’s too bad, you know? For all the lives Boeing’s recent crashed planes have claimed, they could have earned back a lot of good will if they’d just crashed *one more* plane.
I’ve always had a soft spot for this generation of Forester, as ungainly they may be. But, I wouldn’t modify my bank account balance by $13,500 to purchase a modded Subaru. I feel like a lot of that crowd dumps them when the fun of throwing mods and stickers at them wears off and the reality of spending money on a…
It’s time to point out that this car represents the last of a dying breed. Subaru had the WRW, a competent sports sedan, and said “what the hell, put that drivetrain in our most boring car.” Hardly anyone does that anymore, you can’t get the LT2 in a Malibu, ammiright? The GR Corolla has too much other fancy stuff to…
Mad respect for the stylish mods, bro.
I noticed that all of them, including the customer, were of the same general generous shape and size.
First they came for the healthcare CEO’s, and I did not speak out—because I was not a healthcare CEO.
I am a real estate investor and got into it by renting one-off condos to residential renters. The lease I used was very neutral and fair but was very clear and comprehensive. We never had any overly contentious conflicts with tenants but when something came up and we cited the lease for resolution guidance, it was…
Does the DMV not a have national database that the states can search against? Somebody, somewhere has a record that this person either doesn’t have a registered vehicle, and or that vehicle is registered and with different plates...Sounds like good ole fashioned laziness.
