Never had an issue and I earn many FF miles. Not once has anyone asked me to boot my machine and if they did I would just pop that sucker in a do it. I have nothing to hide from "officials", but I like to know that if I were separated from my lappy my info would be safe in my briefcase.
Never said it would prevent someone installing malware in Bios but it definitely erases the chance of any of my information being available to unwanted eyes.
Whenever I travel I just take the HDD out of my laptop. One screw and it slides right out. I carry it on my person and just snap it back in when wanted. Peruse THAT you 'Tards.
I'm surprised there's no love for Paint Shop Pro. It has been my go to since I was on Win98 .
