Every multiplayer game should at least offer bots as an option. Some people like to get the hang of the game without worrying about dragging down (or getting harassed by) other players. Some people just want to steamroll AIs and blow off steam. Some people might want to mess around with the game 20 years from now,

Bless and damn you for this link, I was was up until 5am reading up on these fantastic scandals.

Well I stayed up way past my bed time reading that sub! Thanks for the recommendation.

For some reason The Algorithm started recommending me speed run cheater videos on youtube and I was utterly enthralled despite not caring at all about speed runs. Something about huge scandals in small niche communities is my fetish I guess. Adding this one to the playlist!

The main reason I did a Renegade run was because Jennifer Hale is awesome when she’s hardcore. Though Mark Meer is a perfect cheesy boyscout Paragon.

I feel like the community’s reaction to 5v5 was overblown. Like, I understand the reaction from pros and content creators, because this is their actual livelihood... But for Joe with 2500 SR—hell, even for most GM players—the rage and judgment feels mad premature.

Usually Paragon, but I have a specific way of playing Renegade that lets it be fun for a guy who normally hates the “bad guy” mode. I play Renegade Shep as a meathead who means well but is blunt and pragmatic and most importantly incurious.

You can tell in games like Mass Effect that the developer intends for you to choose the “nice” options because the alternative is usually an option that lacks fully developed content. Like if you choose to be mean to someone it’s usually the case that you just refuse to help them and then that questline ends there.

I’m pretty sure they posted a picture of Amouranth, and not just her tits. The fact that you singled that out speaks volumes.

Jayne’s take is so bad because blizzard doesn’t pay the players. Teams aren’t going to go to one tank on the roster because nobody expects one person to play all tanks at the top level. Most teams will probably go to 2 tanks which means we see maybe 15 tanks that are sitting on the bench getting league minimum will be

Because that’s the way Blizzard is framing it.

They’re the same game.  OW2 is in essence a stand alone expansion with new PvE modes.  There is only one PvP game.

Why would you share Jayne’s extraordinarily bad take? Like sure, OWL will save *checks notes* maybe 10 million dollars. That’s a drop in the bucket for Blizzard.

I don’t know how you think this change is for high level play or OWL. Every high level play centers around the tank duo that’s being used. This throws current high level strategy out the window entirely.

You didn’t play the third (and best) installment of a franchise you loved because of a nonsense, no-issue “ending” controversy? That was such a bunch of garbage. The ending was fine, and who cares if it wasn’t? How does that mar and entire series and a great 3rd game to boot? It didn’t. It doesn’t.

That’s very fair and as i ruminate on how i want to move forward, i do so without malice towards player or staff

something important to note when talking about China:

Because as a trial attorney you never, ever assume the factfinder knows something you haven’t told them. If they miss the point of your argument because they don’t know that “Switch” is a proper noun and not a verb, you can fail to make your point. And if you fail to make your point, and the case is close, you can

Resignation is still a win for the opponent. After all, Chess Grandmasters don’t force their opponent that sees his imminent defeat to play until the final checkmate.
