You can have your own definition of perfection if you want, but what you described is universally know in baseball as a “perfect game”.

I don’t agree with you, but honestly, who cares? The fact that the armor does not decay over time is what affects game play, and that’s got nothing to do with Lucio or Brigitte having a similar ult or not.
Unless I’m mistaken, armor actually prevents 1-clipping supports much more than pulse picks. Armor reduces per-hit damage, so a Tracer 1-clip gets a lot more damage reduction applied than a pulse bomb, which will one-shot supports even when they are armored up from rally.
See, even what you claim is similar is not true at all, and is actually the whole point of the complaint. Unlike Lucio, it is not a “set period of time” for Brigitte. It lasts until somebody manages to do enough damage to remove the armor. This is what might eventually be nerfed.
How is an ult that’s meant to be used reactively to protect from a big ult similar to one that’s meant to be used proactively to start a push? Honestly, I don’t see the connection. There are very few instances where you’d push Q on Rally and Sound Barrier in the same circumstances, whereas you definitely might…
Briggite’s ult is not similar to Lucio, because Rally armor stays after the ult is over, whereas Sound Barrier shields rapidly fade away. Big difference, and that’s what might need to be nerfed. Watching Kabaji’s steam this morning and he was talking about how Tracer is basically useless after Brigitte ults until the…
Hey, you’re allowed your interpretation of what balance would be, but what I said was actually true. If you watch a night of OWL, you’ll see over 2/3 of the roster in play at some point. And even though Winston, D.Va, Mercy, Zen and Tracer are definitely the top heroes right now, only about 1/3 of comps will actually…
Nah, most series you’ll see some Soldier, Sombra, Orisa, Hog, McCree, Junkrat, Pharah, Lucio, Moira, Zarya, Reinhardt as well. Usually just on some specific maps, but they’ll be around. That’s about 2/3 of the cast in every series, not too bad.
Typical Torb pick is to try to cheese a full hold on defense after a failed attack, I’m pretty sure that’s what his OWL cameos must have been about.
Hmm... can’t say I agree. Humans adapt. If I’m playing soccer, and the same guy tries the same move three times in a row, I’ll get him the third time. Very few AI’s are programmed to adapt to counter your playstyle. Take Retribution, the PvE mode we’re talking about. There are guides coming out explaining how to kite…
Nope, not being snarky! I was genuinely curious. I like the story-based aspects of PvE a lot, but the older I get, the more the mechanics of fighting AI seem repetitive, and the more I turn to PvP to avoid staleness. I can’t finish Bioware’s games anymore because the story gets dilluted in way too many copy-paste…
So I guess that means you prefer the end goal for PvE of gearing up with ever-stronger weapons for ever-stronger variations of the same enemies? Okay, makes sense. I used to agree, but I changed my mind when I started playing Overwatch.
Just curious, in what way do you find PvP more repetitive than PvE? For me, since AIs are more predictable than humans, the opposite is true. What makes it different for you? I’m genuinely asking, not arguing.
Actually, I totally agree with you. That’s why I was talking about efforts at the base to allow female players to join and prosper, and at the top to make sure they get the opportunities they deserve. But of course, you need efforts in the middle as well, as you explained very well, to make sure they can climb to the…
Hey, I’m all for having more women in the OWL. I’m all for fans pressuring Blizzard if a specific player deserves to be in there, like what happened with Geguri. But you keep talking in generalities because you don’t actually know of any other female player strong enough to be in the OWL, you just assume they must…
That’s what he’s asking you... since there’s a big difference between saying “more female players should be in OWL” and “these specific female players deserve to be in OWL”.
If you don’t know something, look it up or ask. First time I heard about a dive comp, I had no idea what it was. Now I do. And I’d rather a teammate suggest we go dive than say “Let’s switch our tanks to Winston and D.Va and our off-healer to Zen. Winston will jump on their backline while dropping bubble and D.Va will…
Yeah, but even if you’re already on a key role, there’s a good way to ask:
Zen’s healing orb keeps doing its thing while you’re fraggin out. Focusing on DPS is great, as long as you keep an eye out for who on your team is most in need of healing. There shouldn’t be any trade off between the two, should there?
Exactly. Good players make normal heroes seem OP. Zen’s lack of mobility is his achille’s heel. Jjonak is just so good at deleting flankers and so well supported by his team that it goes unnoticed.
