I have two friends I go see movies with. When I want to see a weird movie that looks interesting but might be total crap, I ask one friend. When I want to see a movie that looks more conventional but that the critics love, I ask the other. They’re both my friends, they’re both amazing, but I’m guessing they’d answer

Wow, you sure projected a lot onto my little comment! I just said it’s an interesting question, not that one answer is better than the other.

I think it made me a lesbian and I’m a guy.

One of my favorite Ok Cupid questions is always: “Would you prefer good things happen or interesting things?”. It tells you a lot about someone.

What surprised me was that knowing the future made the game more fun, not less. It allowed me to play Chloe in a way that felt totally right, whether it’s with her Mom or with Rachel. I know where she’s coming from and I know where she’s going, and the game is letting me play her in a way that fits with what I know

Ha ha! Yeah, I used to live in Glasgow and I had a crazy friend from Nigeria who decided it would be a good idea to go to a Celtic pub and stand up and cheer when Rangers scored in extra-time against them in a Scottish cup semi-final. Still have no idea how he got out alive.

Oops! Good point. Still my favorite Aussies. I even paid for Junkrat’s cricket skin despite one of my favorite memories being Broad’s 8 for 15 at Trent Bridge.

You’re missing my two favorite Australians... Junkrat and Roadhog! :-)

If you insist on being a pedant, he was never a one-shot menace. The hook was one shot, the follow up blast to the face was two.

Now, the hook is one shot, the follow up blast to the face *by you and your teammates* is two.

That’s amazing! Congrats for following your dreams and best of luck in the future!

Mystery heroes is great fun in Overwatch. You get to play all the heroes and occupy all the team roles, you don’t pick your hero so nobody can complain about the meta, and you’re always a different hero so nobody even really notices if you’re dying all the time when you have a bad game. If you’re burned out from bad

Top rated? According to who? That’s just a random deck some guy had success with at lower ranks.

Nah, just go to Arena and you’ll get back in the groove. Draft your first few decks with the HearthArena deck builder and you’ll be fine, plus you’ll get to learn the new cards and mechanics one deck at a time.

Yeah, it’s weird, I used to agree in my 30s but now in my 40s I’m appreciating the difficulty more. I think it’s because I used to enjoy stories, but now I enjoy great “game loops”, and you don’t get to experience the game loop fully on easy mode when any random move will work.

There’s a great article from the Tumbleweed developper explaining why they made the changes:

Just reflexes. I’d say it’s more to do with the nervous system and brain than the muscles, but I’m no doctor, so I could be way off. Anyway, reflexes clearly slow down with age, so any activity where the first to react wins will be skewed towards the young.

Honestly, you get used to that. I just ignore the other players, if they kill me, whatever, who cares? You’re back in business 15 seconds later. I used to try to drop a helicopter or plane on other players, cause it would make me laugh if somebody did that to me.

The real problem is that it’s a big money grind. The CEO

Yeah, I love the game but I’m terrible, so elusive targets are basically impossible for me. Leave the achievement for first-time perfect kills, but let me enjoy the content! There looked to be a great one during a film shoot in Sapienza, but I got shot and killed about 2 minutes in after subduing a guy I thought was

My apologies, I didn’t mean to direct my rant at you specifically. I just get angry when I see a journalist getting ganged up on by people who don’t realize that the very fact of selecting something to write an article about makes a complete farce of the idea that journalism can be in any way objective.

You guys have no clue what journalism is. It is not, and never was, a list of facts devoid of opinions. Maybe you would like it to be that, in which case you need to take some philosophy classes to understand how completely impossible that would be anyway. But it’s not, never was, and your little pedantic rants after
