I finally got around to mixing Songs of Experience & Songs Of Innocence into 1 disc that can live in my car. The 2 albums fit together VERY well.

It’s hardly news that your music coverage has been in steady decline for some time, but the fact SO many editors have resolved “to listen to music” helps explain why. Christ, you have your food editor writing music reviews.

Maybe AVClub should resolve to change that. I know you’re primarily a TV review site now, but…

They’ve refined the rock thing with 70s soul and folk.

No way they could’ve pull off something like “Daryl & Dwight” or “Jim Gordon” on Learn & Burn. It was simply beyond them.

And they’ve figured out 3 and 4 part vocal harmonies and put them to good use.
