The nihilism can be grating. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but episode after episode can be a little much.

Don’t care about most of that list, fucking terrible.

The Sheepdogs and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club both have albums due in February. That’s where my ears are aimed.

“Like U2, it may continue to have a successful, possibly even arena-headlining career, but it may never recover whatever shred of cool it had left”

This is the best part about getting old. The “cool” factor doesn’t matter anymore. You also realize the “cool” factor never mattered.

Weed.

It’s ok.

It’s slightly sci-fi.

And it’s about how depressing and awful our future is.

“It’s called a world class defense the Giants had those Super Bowl years”

They didn’t have a world-class defense in either of those seasons. They were ranked (by points) 17th and 25th in those respective seasons.

Middle to bottom of the league.

“Has there ever been a two time Super Bowl winner/MVP that was a “maybe” for the HOF?”

No. Every eligible 2+ SB MVP winner is in the HOF.

Right back at ya.

“i really don’t care that much about you or this band enough “

Yet you’ve posted 4 times and now you’re seeking out animal pictures to convey your thoughts.

All to tell the world how much you don’t like a thing.

Guy uses comment section to tell people not to comment.

“just because a band i like releases an album doesn’t mean i have to stand behind it for the sake of loyalty...”

Please, expound on this. Explain how you’ve come to the conclusion that I really don’t like Songs Of Experience and I’m merely pretending to enjoy it out of loyalty.

“it could be said you’re hanging on just

That’s fucking awful.

You should’ve gone. U2 are brilliant live.

Completely disagree. The record is wonderful and a sign they should keep recording for years to come. Songs Of Experience enhances their legacy.

Yes. It’s called a disagreement.

I love those lyrics.

You’ll like this. The singles fit well with the album and it’s all over the place from a song perspective.

Yeah. Breathe is an all-timer. So is Moment Of Surrender.

They have a food guy writing music reviews.

Longtime fan who’s very happy with Songs Of Experience.

This review was an epic hatchet job.
