It is for this very reason that I chose not to LS-swap my NA Miata. I have yet to drive anything swapped with an LS and I very much want to. It is, as RegularCars stated, the GameGenie of engines. If you have an LS, YOU WIN!

*yawn*

I would agree with you, but just got a look at that Sin S1. Beauty is where you find it. Now I think the Gumpert styling is simply brutal. The Sin is Hieronymus Bosch style fug.

I will never not want one of these and now that I have a little boy my wife and I have toyed with the idea of getting one. That said, we’re renting first to make sure it’s an experience we’ll enjoy enough to justify the purchase. I remember those trips with my father and brothers; it was back when mobile communication

Came here to say the same thing. We rented a 300 several years ago on a trip to LA. It was big, quiet and comfortable and had all the tech we wanted in a car. I told my wife I’d be happy to have one as a daily driver. We ended up leasing a Cadillac CT4 - a bit smaller, but the mileage is a lot better. With the

A friend of mine picked up a Polestar EV. He had to go to Detroit to get it, but he loves it. I have yet to see it myself, but we will probably get one if we like it. We’d be more comfortable if they had a dealer network in Illinois, which should happen soon.

I visited my dealership for an oil change and warranty repair recently. The dealer is leaving a purchase offer note in every car they service. I’d take advantage of this, but then I’d have to find another car. We may do this anyway as we are planning to get an electric car for daily transport. It’ll really depend on

Now playing

Huh. Look at that. “God made a farmer” didn’t make the cut. I’ll add it here as a dishonorable mention.

If you’re in a Porsche, you’ve already won.

I learned some big lessons from my dad on this one. He had a boat when I was a kid. Nothing special - 18' inboard/outboard we used for summer trips to the lake. Self storage near our home was cheaper than storing at the lake and the boat didn’t need much in the way of maintenance. Of course, it always needed something

I was dating someone who turned me on to this show. Lots of stupid modifications, but the surfer vw bus with TV, playstation, swimsuit dryer, automated roof rack and Retractable stop (chill) sign? Chef’s kiss.

Nailed it. So much DIY intelligence on YouTube. Even for stuff I know how to do, I've found so many clever tips and tricks to make a job easier. Why learn from your own mistakes when you can learn from somebody else's before you make any?

You sound like my big brother. I’d ask him if FrankenCamry is his Kinja handle, but we’ve been no contact for decades.

You know what’s fun? Go back and read this article again, but Find/Replace “Sovereign Citizen(s)” with “Asshole(s)”.

I belly laughed at this!

This is a vast improvement. I’d never heard of Liberty Walk until Mike at Stanceworks bought a kit for his K-swapped Ferrari 308. His series on Youtube is definitely worth your time. Here’s the kit: https://libertywalk.co.jp/bodykit/lb-works/lb-works-308gtb/

The best stupid car invention was and remains the Stop Drop. My mother bought me a pair for my car 10 years ago and it’s been moved three times. It’s practically invisible and I haven’t lost my phone or anything else to the void between my seat and the trans tunnel.

Thanks for sharing that! I have seen this movie dozens of times, but never the TV version. So many jokes went over my head when I was a kid, but my wife and I still make references.

This is a perfect example of how the market responds to regulation. The future value of those airport gate rights and routes outweigh the present and (hopefully) brief expense of operating the equipment. Regulators simply failed to recognize and account for this outcome by lifting the flight requirements.
