The problem lies in the massive quantities of power necessary to do it from water. It’s currently easier to refine from natural gas, which is still a dirty business. When it can be done purely from renewable energy, that’ll be something.

Boom. Straight into my Evernote account. We just bought a house with a good sized detached garage.

That is some damn fine nose art. A nice change of pace from the shark mouth.

GoDaddy’s commercials may suck, but their customer service and and tech support are fantastic in that I’m able to reach someone, tell them what I need and get the job done in 15 minutes or less. Quite often I’m done in 5. I’ve registered dozens of clients using them and I recently transferred an entire company over to

…while foolishly ditching the name “Taurus” at the same time - the bread and butter of the company’s car lineup. The Five Hundred looked like a VW Passat with a glandular disorder. They sold poorly, so Ford changed the Five Hundred name back to Taurus. Sales picked up, but they still quickly replaced it because… blech!

No. Most people will continue to live their lives passive-aggressively hating the haves while being have-nots. There is only one area where violence toward the rich will increase: Kidnappings.

If that’s your concern, reach out to Callaway directly and ask. In the past, their Corvettes were sold through Chevy dealerships and can be serviced by the dealer - which means at the very least that there is extensive documentation available on the car and go-fast bits therein. As a development car, my concern

I bought a bra for my Miata after that. They were such a pain to put on and take off, but for trips like that - worth it.

My dad had a 78 and a 79. Both L-82. The second one, which I got to drive just after getting my license, was modified by some kid who sold to my dad for college money. It went from 70 - 120 faster than it did 0 - 60 because you didn’t have to shift. (It felt that way when the secondary barrels opened) I drove that car

I lived in Louisiana for years. Summers are hot muggy and the bugs are everywhere. I drove in from Atlanta late one August night and my Miata looked like it had been dining at a pig trough.

Sigh...

He’d be the hero of a lot of car guys if he made a deal with a certain sultan. There’s a slowly rotting car collection far more interesting than anything Mayweather currently has in his garage.

Once again, the answer is Miata. I have several clients and know a few members of my local club with enough liquidity to buy whatever they want in cash. They all have or had a Miata in their garage.

We had the 455 Rocket V8 in our Olds Custom Cruiser. Loads to torque for towing. Any of these clamshell gate monsters would be a great restomod. In my state, if the car doesn’t have OBD2, it’s exempt from screening. It’d be fun to have a fuel injected 455 with a modern exhaust system and airbag suspension.

Cars were a lot cheaper then. They may have become more expensive, but you’re getting a lot more car and utility for your dollar.

Americans loved their big powerful cars and would have continued buying them if we didn’t have an oil crisis. That and CAFE standards killed the highway cruiser. Americans had to re-think their car budgets. People started buying Honda, Toyota and Datsun - brands everyone made fun of in the late 60s - and discovered

Without a reputable reference link, I doubt that's true. Look at that face. Passing gas - along with anything else - won't be a problem.

This article is only 50% universal. Unless there’s a lady out there willing to superglue a shewee into place. (shudder)

This design is not a huge departure from the column shifter we all know from back in the day. They just changed how you put it in park. Pull down for drive, push up for reverse. Turn off the traction control and you can rock your way out of a snowed in parking spot.
