yes you can do that it requires you to have a live account tho but it does work this game has quickly became a favorite for me me and my brother play together and its just amazing nothing less

I like my theory that you can go inside the portal for a short amount of time and collect rare materials and see rare creatures for a short period before it closes and if you don’t make it back through the portal you’re stuck there until you find a new ship
