I agree with this man.
I agree with this man.
No better indignant bile than "Idiot Wind"……I hate to use the cliché, but "it got me through"….
Is it implied there was some sort of child abuse done to him? It might explain his closeted status if he was abused for acting out on homosexual feelings? I dunno. In the first episode, his girlfriend asks about a scar and he says it came from before the war. Of course, this was dropped as well.
Yeah man. I get that the world is a dark and depressing place, maybe that's why I'm tuning into a TV show to escape it for a while? At least give me a hero's death or something.
Stuff like this is more palatable in short form…like a Twilight Zone short or a 2 hour movie. Not 8 hours of watching these people get their asses handed to them by life and then this.
I felt it was rushed over, that reveal. Didn't have much time to process it.
Same here. I thought I liked the finale, but the more I think on it, what a downer. Might be too much for me. I didn't think the S1 finale was ''sappy''.
There was such an info dump through exposition dialogue, that I missed the gravitas of the reveal that Caspere was fucking around with his own daughter. Should've been more of a shock and awe scene, but felt like such a throwaway.
Yeah, I've rewatched S1 several times. It's easier to rewatch due to its brevity and not a total downer of an ending. Not sure about this one.
I thought of The Black Stallion when reading this article…I caught part of it on PBS recently after a break and thought it looked beautiful. But I saw Benji for the first time in a while recently and thought it was cool too, so I might not know much.
Heard he might try and do a Big Lebowski type thing, which will unfortunately be set in California.
If it was Mad Men, we'd have like half an episode of the mom and girlfriend hanging out in the motel room.
What episode?
Sometimes your worst self is your best self.
People who are digging on the Calexico might want to check out Richard Buckner's "Devotion and Doubt"…the Calexico guys played on it. It's a tough album though…a divorce album.
Yes. NBA.
He's a Cavs fan. Gonna be on edge the next week.
I will get behind you on this one….Crusader: No Regret was a little better for me though. I did play it first though and returned to Remorse later. I think Remorse was on Playstation.
I remember purists hating on Fallout 3 a little when it was release (that website No Mutants Allowed gave it a semi-negative review), and Fallout 1 & 2 were terrific to me in junior high. I enjoyed FO3 thoroughly and haven't gotten around to New Vegas. What did you hate about it?
Patrons at theme restaurant cheer. "There is no Entourage 2!"
