I have not had good luck with wifisync. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it does not.

If you go to a Regal theater that has Sony projectors, I guarantee they do this. The reason why is because most people don't care/don't notice. Most people that comment here would be nerdy enough to notice it.

It's true they don't remove the lens on Sony projectors. It all comes down to corporate. Employees are told not to remove them. It's not laziness from projectionist.

If they are all digital, nothing. A lot of theaters still have only a few digital houses, then they still have to deal with 35mm film.
