Protect the stupid, I say let them figure it out. If you really need to have a protected phone, then learn how to be correctly protected. Just like anything else in life. If you have millions of dollars in your house, one lock will not protect you.

I'm with everyone else. Why is this a bad thing? since you are able to change the settings. I don't understand what they did was wrong. I guess the default should be that it's turned off when you have a passlock on your phone.

Sure the phone might be falling the same way. Both phones don't fall the same way. While the iphone may land with the right corner if that's where the weight is. The samsung might land on it's back.

It's really luck. It's all about how it lands. They don't land the exact same way, so it's hard to really compare them.

I got a AP notification on my phone. I went to the AP app and there wasn't an article about it. I went to giz, engadget, cnn and no one had posted. I thought it was fake. Later on I saw it on CNN.
