@mricyfire: i also don't understand why the other antenna does not have any issues.

what if he hit a bump and they all fall down. ha.

@Spanbauer: Run a speed test and see if it changes at all. If it does, then this is right.

I laid my iPhone 4 with the left side down on my MacBook pro and lost all 3G connection since its aluminum, but I ran a speed test in wifi and it improved the connection by a lot. On the table it would get 2mb, on the MacBook it got 7mb. I still don't get how these antennas work, since one improved and the other died.

@russellycfc: Sounds like you are having an issue with the wifi antenna, I would take it back and get another one.

My guess is that they figured out what the real issue was and are going to patch it, but blame signal strength so it doesn't seem to be their mistake.

@Maave: where do i sign up?

@vein11: fascist company? you must not buy a lot of stuff that is created by companies do you? i do believe there are a lot of companies that do this kind of stuff and get away with it.

@baneyu: if no one bought one then they would stop making bad products. then again, there's a lot of crap out there.

why sue? just return it or don't buy it.

@HuskerNE: who cares? i know it's not our job, but it's good to identify the problem. also, people keep saying you can't touch antennas... that's not true, you can touch it, you just can't bridge the connection.

@AdamKaoru: it's 2 antennas, i thought the bottom was just a random piece. but you can see here it's actually attached. the left side is actually the wifi antenna.

@Asraiil: i guess that could make sense if you were just touching the antenna and you lost signal. It seems that the issue is when you bridge the two antennas, how can only one screw up?

why is the wifi antenna not affected?

@a sexy hot dog: i only stand 12" from my friends...so they should look the same.

Sweet. now i can see my friends in HD!

who cares if people know where you are?

i don't understand why the wifi antenna doesn't short. I have read other people asking this question too, but i not once heard a real response to it.

this app is amazing. in 3g area, the quality was great.
