MADFROG?

^^^Don’t watch Arrested D.

Agreed. Looks almost identical to the parked Camry it passes by..

Agreed on all counts! I’d thought it was 300ft, but checked and you’re right, 500 feet. But again, yeah, only illegal morons don’t pull over, and following that close are the douchebags. And I hate being passed by the ambulance chasers (not meaning lawyers in this case) (and yeah, I have to admit guilt at some point

Here in Washington, it’s illegal to either a) not move over while passing an emergency vehicle with lights flashing stopped on the shoulder, or b) slow down (I was told by 20 mph.)

Sorry, how is that worse?

This here ^^^ This is good advice.

Boats definitely do have autopilot systems as well. They will follow a set course, making steering adjustments as necessary and avoiding other boats on radar/lidar/whatever the system is using in harmony with your gps. But the driver should still be there to avoid smaller craft and/or debris not caught on their radar.

Damn right! Capitalism!

At 5-10 mph, I’d argue they cannot (stop as fast as cars). But still, no excuse and 100% the biker’s fault.

Assuming both, until OP confirms.

Yeah, perhaps the bumper is more than a grand (100% likely), but the rest of the OP’s points were en pointe. Dude was probably drunk and wanted to avoid a ticket for reckless and DUI. $8k for a bumper (which, what’s the difference if he stayed, anyway?) is a helluva lot cheaper than a night or two with the LVPD’s

Mayhaps they intended to repeatedly give “1's,” have you considered this possibility?

My Jeep dealer will be receiving 1's across the board - once I finally get my Jeep back.

Perhaps they had received shitty service. Have you considered this possibility?

Let me guess.. this was before cameras? (And by cameras, I’m referring to modern day, pull out your phone and you’ve got an HD camera, cameras) Only because I’d love to see that!

As a driver and non-motorcycle rider, I see the vests. I may poke and prod, but I see the vests. And I hear the loud pipes. And the headlight as it shimmers and bounces in my rearview. Though I consider myself a highly skilled driver, I confirmed with my wife that loud pipes and high-vis jackets do catch non-riders’

Question: When you are offered or are offering change, do you say “here is your quarter of a dollar.” Or do you simply say “Here’s your quarter.”?

Just to point this out.. the biker with the video stopped as well as someone just ahead of him (toward the end of the clip). So, at least two stopped, and the track safety marshals are the only ones who should even touch this guy, so yeah, others could’ve stopped, but they could only have become onlookers at that

Do go on..
