Those leaving the country *are* the ones throwing the hissy fits. You know that, right? Her classmates families were not forced or coerced into leaving the country, unless they were deported for doing something illegal. Trump hasn’t even taken presidency yet, so those that are being deported as of your comment, were

I’d buy a Levorg in a heartbeat if offered stateside.

I love my Wrangy! I’ve got a ‘13 (no drive by wire for me) so your pedal issue, and likely part of the TC system problem too, are moot for me. Though I do get TC kicking in when I pull into random parking spaces that aren’t straight-on (my old driveway with concave asphalt and low speed parking lots on uneven surfaces

The (paraphrased) definition is that a vehicle must be driven on the road with the doors that came from the factory. Thus, this VW is not legal to drive on the road. A Wrangler is exempted from this statute by a sort of loophole - the Wrangler is “sold from the factory” without doors. The doors are an option as you

All of them?

I feel ya on that! I could hermit myself inside my house for weeks! And with a little one on the way, you’ve given me some great tips, I appreciate that :) We keep our workspace separate from the rest of the house already, but it’s a loft above our main floor living room, so unless the noise is all the way downstairs,

Tis but the same, you are correct sir or madam! I had a ‘98 ‘stang with that same interior.. Not just an engine, but not a chassis either :)

At least ya’ll have standard car inspections.. Wait. Looks like Mississippi got rid of them last year! Nevermind..

Thank you, Seattle, for chiming in. Tacoma here: I commute an hour in to Seattle (on a bad day), then another 15 min. to a half hour or so to Bellevue for work. I love my (home’s) multi-car garage, the 3000+ sq.ft. I live in, the yard, and all the trappings that come with living in a cheaper area than where I work :)

Though at the first sight of gravel, this’ll shit the bed compared to the Jeep ;) At least engine replacements are a relatively easy thing in either..

Looks just like the last black lab I had, Kobe. It’s been 11 years and I still miss him; this story hits me right in the feels! Ruger even has the same build, coloration and collar Kobe had. Ugh. Thanks for the memories :)

I love coming across 6 year old comments like yours. Thanks for the chuckle! Though I get your point, too. :)

And fighting for a higher minimum wage does what, exactly? Embolden 20 somethings to continue in fast food as a career? Get off it. When McDonald’s replaces their workers with machines (ala most other countries they employ this in), the workers won’t have a leg to stand on, the protesters will be jobless, moneyless,

City dwellers not understanding what people in middle America go through or how they think? Unheard of!

We agreed then and there that they were likely stolen too, but we were in high school and for whatever reason, had the cash, and ended up with a decent pair of tower speakers (Theatre Gold or something? Who knows). I just brought it up to him, he’d long forgotten about it all, but then immediately sent me a wiki link

Must be different in Canada. I’m on the insurance side and have seen many businesses fire an employee after an infraction due to the ridiculous insurance premiums after an employee has an accident, especially if they keep that person on as a driver.

It’s surprisingly good meat (well, it was when I tried it!). It’s been about 12 years though, so quality may have decreased ;)

Please explain to me the 911 Turbo S, or the fact that the “regular” 911 is now twin turbo as well (don’t yammer on about MPG, I get that, but they also increased HP..).

That head is YUUUGE!

Sitting in someone’s ear?
