+1 for first year issues / major redesign. I was surprised to hear that the Blazer EV was so problematic, considering our ‘23 Bolt EUV has been excellent. Cheap, efficient, great tech for the money. But that was after Chevy recalled the battery in the ‘17-22's.

I’ve had two LC500's (‘21 and ‘24). I literally bought the second one to get the new blue color. I have a #bluecarproblem.
One issue is that, by 100K miles, the previous owner’s maintenance starts to become a significant part of the reliability factor for the car. And if you’re buying the car from anyone other than the owner who is providing records, you have no real guarantee of how it has been maintained.
Toyota has been putting this engine in the Lexus LS since 2018.
