What could have been a conversation ended with the end of someone’s life.
...
I’ll freely admit, eyewitnesses claim Neely was acting aggressively. But what does aggression mean?

Came here to post this. They could play this at Clarkson’s funeral.

How this conversation went down at GM headquarters:

Give me a second-gen prius with a bed

Former ‘94 Toyota Pickup and ‘99 Tacoma owner. Dear god do I wish Toyota would copy the Ford Maverick hybrid. I just need a small efficient truck to do truck stuff with, I don’t need to tow anything.  Build a stripped down version and call it the “yardwork special”, whatever.  Yes, they’d lose some Tacoma sales, but

Somewhere out there is a man who wouldn’t gamble his family’s future

Essentially, cars sold at MSRP (or below) get priority and will be built first.

Obviously these were taken from comments / replies to another post, are the Mk4 Supra and gen1 NSX missing from this list because they are too expensive for people to mention in the comments?

+1 for Body-on-frame Toyota 4x4 & manual transmission Honda. Adjust either/or as your priorities and budget allow.

The most shocking thing is that new C8 Corvette is everything the ‘new’ NSX should have been.

How to surprise and annoy your NSX friends as a former delSol owner: when they’re explaining how the targa on their NSX works, lift your side up and say “same latch as on my delSol”.

Obviously the LFA is the king, problem is that there aren’t enough of them for the average enthusiast to have seen one in person, much less hope to own one.

Lexus Employee 2: Do we take a risk and make something unique?

“Unrealistic seller did not meet their crazy reserve at auction” isn’t as flashy of a headline.

Now imagine any one of our aging parents trying to manage this.

For some people it’s not liking EVs in general, for some people it’s not liking Musk specifically. The “panel gaps” crowd strikes me as the former. The same ninjas that built the LFA built my Lexus LC, short of a Toyota Century built for the Emperor it is likely the best built car to ever come out of Japan. The Tesla p

Came here to post this. 500 layoffs from an org of 81,000? They’ll lose 10 times that number to simple turnover this year.

I sold my 3 to get a Y, I was always hitting my head getting into / out of the 3. The Y was a big improvement in that regard.

Criticism is fine, it’s one way that they can improve. But if you’re buying a Hyundai over a Tesla because of panel gap issues, you’re prioritizing a trivial thing over Tesla’s undeniable strengths like actually having a viable national charging network that is easy to use.

I own a ~$120K Lexus built at their Motomachi plant. I’ve also owned a Tesla Model 3 and Model Y.
