So much this. You just saw a movie you all ready set your mind to that you where going to hate because you hate the creator. Seems kinda “ranty” tbh.

It’s more of a “why bother reviewing a film you know you’re going to hate because you just don’t like the person who created it,” but yeah, you’re spot-on.

This is like when that chick from Gawker reviewed the TGI Friday’s mozz sticks. Why even bother with the review if your cool-guy status rides on you hating the film? Even if Leitch spent the entire 115 minutes laughing his ass off, he couldn’t say so here. This is why movie reviews are pointless and almost never have…

IMO if you’re not the target audience, don’t yell at the people who are that they shouldn’t be enjoying themselves.

Agreed. When Timonen tries to pass it on to someone else, Toews sees this, comes back around and yells at Timonen to “Go for a skate!” Awesome moment, basically saying, be selfish homie, this is the best moment of your career, enjoy it a little bit.

As I said in the other Blackhawks thread, I am so thrilled for this guy. With everything he went through this season, to the heartbreaking loss with the Flyers in 2010. He deserves it so much and I am effing happy for him.
