It’s easy to hate on Apple’s walled garden but I honestly don’t see any problem with this

This was a dick move for Epic. They would be similarly pissed if someone launched on Epic Store and bypassed their in-game purchase options.

No, because the flooring contractor tells the GC what he will charge for the service. If the GC told a flooring contractor, ‘I have a job, here’s what you’re allowed to charge and here’s the percentage of the fee i’m going to take because I ‘facilitated’ you getting the work’, the flooring contractor would tell him to

Most taxi drivers simply lease a medallion from someone else, and control their own hours and fares, within regulations. Taxi driver’s who own their own medallions are essentially small business owners.

The problem is that companies like Uber and Lyft want it both ways. They want to call their people independent contractors, since they don’t have to offer benefits or pay payroll tax; but they also want to have full control over those people, including dictating how much they can charge.

There is no nuance to it. Uber and Lyft set the prices in their “Marketplace.” If the drivers are independent then Uber and Lyft are guilty of price fixing. If they aren’t price fixing then the drivers MUST be employees. You can’t have it both ways.

More equitable, as long as their contributions are recognized in the form of more money for Mercedes. Just because you say something doesn’t make it true, especially when it’s contradicted by the very next thing that comes out of your mouth.

You don’t sign, you don’t race (in F1).

Isn’t Obama’s intervention why we’re stuck with Biden in the first place?

Those satus quo warriors will never get it.

The delay sucks.  Which means another year of the Mercedes parade at the front.  Being an F1 fan sucks.

Mercedes (and everyone else’s) car will be illegal in 2022 considering the complete overhaul of the basic car designs taking place.  I’m just upset they pushed it back a year.

This is a good time to admit Ferrari has mostly been crap for a long time -- excluding a brilliant interlude with Jean Todt, Ross Brawn, and Michael Schumacher at the helm.

but enough about America.........

I’ve legit been worried about this. I still love seeing movies in the theaters. It’s the only place a movie is likely to get my undivided attention, and I have a comfy and pretty quiet theater within 10 minutes of my house that I went to often as I could manage. That theater is an AMC so I got spooked when there

Or if the bags said “Lindo Coffee.”
Sorry for the way out of date reference. Clear and Present Danger was just on HBO...

PC gaming is good for people who like to work on their PCs more than they like to do work on their PCs. You have to have a certain mind-set.

something that most of us do naturally, like being a nice person”

I feel like Tom Cruise is basically a real life Chris Traeger, if it turns out Dr. Richard Nygaard was a Scientologist.
