That was a classic failure of market reserach though. They asked owners of camaros if the terrible visibility bothered them. Most said no. But they didn’t ask people who bought other competitive cars, many of whom didn’t buy the camaro due largely to visibility concerns. Keeping a bad features because “our existing

I know most Hollywood movies get ridiculed for terrible effects (deservedly so) but look at how much worse we could have it! Not that it matters, looks about equal in quality if not budget to a Fast and Furious type movie, so probably something I won’t even bother to catch despite paying for and underutilizing my AMC

It’s to me funny because the absurd behavior is basically living out what goes through my head trying to navigate the anxiety and frustration of existing in this hellish, oppressive society. Not understanding social cues or norms but desperately wanting to come across as “normal” or even just survive the required inter

Yet another thing trains already solved better over a century ago. cars are cool and all, but there’s no version of cars that is a reasonable everyday transit solution for the masses. Cars as anything other than a fun hobby/toy or tool for a specific job was a mistake.

No, hasn’t grown on me, but then again I owned an e92 and eventually decided it was too modern to be any good and everything newer was even worse. Design is not top of the heap on issues BMW has if they want me as a customer ever again. Simply put, their cars just aren’t fun enough anymore to justify the upfront and

Eh, if it was dated before they left, it would be a lot easier to call it a painfully ironic, misguided, but ultimately intended to be joking letter of support for her son. Still better to have never written it, but I tend to think not having a date makes it more likely it’s unrelated to the murder. No one is arguing

It’s a great car. I just prefer my gas cars to be from the 20th century and for daily duties find an EV so much more convenient. The less effort it takes to keep a car for putting around the city for errands, the more I have for things like my older Alfas.

So frustrating how many dealers only will carry AWD models. With you on the blue, I went to USC and even I’d pick Misano Blue with yellow calipers (UCLA colors, ew!) if I were buying a Giulia. Sadly think my window has passed though, I can’t see myself buying a new ICE in the 2020s, EVs are just so much nicer and

I use a home carbonation machine that can carbonate any liquid, can confirm sparkling liquor and cocktails are very fun. Basically a far more capable soda stream type device:

Don’t forget losing ‘07 by 1 point to Kimi. Even staying on the exact same teams, Nando is less than 10 points from being a 5x champion.

With the exact right team every year? Every championship from 2005 until now. But with that logic, Hamilton could have won every year from 2007 until now, Vettel from like 2008- at least 2018, etc. In almost any year this century almost half the field could have won given the right car and teammate.

This is so absurdly ableist of you. Not everyone has magical perfect emotional regulation. In fact, no one does, we all just break at different points. Put someone in a stressful situation, then keep ratcheting up the stress and someone will break. That’s not their fault. No one wakes up saying “I’m gonna melt down at

I don’t disagree in principle, but often the flying experience is the most stressful thing someone has to experience, it’s not crazy that someone might after days of being delayed and jerked around at their own expense be a bit frustrated. And there isn’t really another option, all airlines have basically the same

Yes. Airlines treat us worse and worse, and at the moment charge ever more to do so. The majority of passenger incidents I’ve experienced are after or during extensive delays or major Airline screwups. Not fair to put it 100% on the passengers.

Max is 100% my least favorite driver on the grid. Complete asshole and I wish there was a non-injurious way to get him off the grid forever ASAP. But he won 2021. It was only close because of the multiple times Mercedes drivers took him out of races with no penalty.

Hamilton Stans are so funny. That should be at least a season ban maneuver for someone who isn’t a 7 time champion. It was Max’s corner and Lewis’s responsibility to back out. Masi’s mistake was tiny and irrelevant. They didn’t let the lapped car through earlier and tried to panic fix it. No one who isn’t living in

Always this. Masi tried to recover from the mistake of not letting the lapped cars through a lap or two earlier. Was it wrong/less than ideal? Yes.

Found it wasn’t that easy to place on the greater map from the linked Hordaland goverment site, so here’s a sketch I made showing a bit more of the area.

Police should be terminated and blackballed from all law enforcement if they discharge their weapon, even in the most justified circumstances. It’s a life or death descion, and there need to be serious consequences. You get one shot in your career, make it count.
