I mean, I’ve driven every winter of my life in Tahoe on all seasons and 4x4 set to 4x2 on all but a couple days of the year. Winter tires are smart, but if you can stay home the days it’s actively dumping snow (and why wouldn’t you? going out in a blizzard isn’t fun and I love winter sports!), there’s really no reason

I love bus travel. I’d definitely take a luxe bus for an 8+ hour overnight journey, but I really just want anyone at all to restart a bus route from Cincinnati to Chicago. Pre-2020 I used the MegaBus a lot, but they don’t serve that route anymore and it is a real bummer

This. I want a nice bike badly as I am currently moving back into the city, but there’s a reason I’ve always opted for Walmart’s cheapest bike in the past and assumed I’ll by buying a, seat, handlebars, a wheel, or even a whole on a regular basis.  The theft proof bike is sorely needed!

Fine. Can I and other independant resturant workers/lovers/owners/etc have their customers? A lot of us are watching the places we have a passion for die slow painful deaths since mom and pop can’t compete with a dedicated app, 6 delivery services, skyrocketing costs, lingering pandemic fears, inflation, rents going

Cry me a river. I’ve watched so many great restaurants close (and ‘got’ to help close down 5 myself, so much fun!) over the last 2 years. Boo Hoo. your corporate marketing machine is keeping your job afloat while a lot of the rest of us in the industry are begging for a way get noticed on the half dozen apps you

This timeline makes no sense. The Giorgio platform was developed in 18 months for a mid 2015 release. It was absurdly expensive and rushed, but we were told it was worth it because as soon as the kinks were worked out in the early model year Giulia/Stelvio it was going to underpin everything from the Charger to the

What’s the definition of “during” and “Post” for a currently ongoing pandemic?

Bros was definitely my second choice for movies last weekend. But I went to the Avatar re-release instead. Probably will catch Bros in theaters, but even if I don’t I’m sure it’s watchable at home. Avatar is a movie I can’t imagine seeing anywhere but in 3D on a big screen so it won out for me.

I’d say your mistake is driving to COTA. I went for Kimi’s last win and tried both ride share and parking, the rideshare was infinitely better.

Mostly off topic, but anyone else remember when “blue hair” meant a super elderly person? Of all the hair dye colors that the meme could have used, why go with one that already had a stereotype associated with it?

There is no such thing as a wrong result. Whatever happens under the rules is by definition the correct result. Personally, I think Senna was faster in 1988 but should have been banned and excluded from 1990.

I’m saying that many years there’s at least one other driver who had a chance to win. But only one wins each year. What we as fans wish or think should have happened doesn’t matter. Senna won in 1988. He also, by most metrics was faster that year. But even if he was clearly worse, if his best 11 results scored more

That’s just false. You don’t have to be fastest to score more points, you have to be more consistent, which isn’t always in the driver’s sole control.Mechanical relaiabilty, other drivers actions, etc can all affect that. The old rules gave you a few “do-overs” to account for those issues.

We get it. You hate the rules under which the 1988 and many other championships were contested. Doesn’t and won’t change who won or who was faster that year.

Not this again. Senna beat Prost in most races they both finished and got 12 poles to Prost’s 2. Plus the rules were in the same for everyone all year. Senna was better. He made a few mistakes and got a little unlucky, but he was clearly the better driver that year. The rules preserved the deserving champion.

NASCAR’s marque oval events like the Daytona 500

I mean, technically the Taycan is smaller than the Panamera. But I know it’s not what you’re talking about. A Macan hatch/wagon/sedan would be better in every way than a crossover. But people buy crossovers for some reason. Some of it is marketing for sure, but I maintain a lot of the reason is how low sedans got. My

AMG’s work is amazing here, but I honestly like the lorinser body kit on my ‘88 300CE better. And they really should replace those yellowed headlights, it makes a huge difference on the appearance of the car.

But Senna won more. And had almost every pole. And in the 12 races they both finished Senna won 7 to Prost’s 5 (7 to 4 if you discount Australia where Senna had already won the championship). Senna was faster, if less consistent. I like that. I would prefer a system that rewards flashes of brillance over pure

I like winning. I like not penalizing people for flukes. I like the Drivers champion to be decided on the track not in the garage. Speaking again about ‘88 specifically, Senna won more than Prost. He out-qualified Prost 75% of the time. Even Prost says Senna beat him that year. Two of Senna’s dropped races were a DSQ
