Not this again. Senna beat Prost in most races they both finished and got 12 poles to Prost’s 2. Plus the rules were in the same for everyone all year. Senna was better. He made a few mistakes and got a little unlucky, but he was clearly the better driver that year. The rules preserved the deserving champion.

NASCAR’s marque oval events like the Daytona 500

I mean, technically the Taycan is smaller than the Panamera. But I know it’s not what you’re talking about. A Macan hatch/wagon/sedan would be better in every way than a crossover. But people buy crossovers for some reason. Some of it is marketing for sure, but I maintain a lot of the reason is how low sedans got. My

AMG’s work is amazing here, but I honestly like the lorinser body kit on my ‘88 300CE better. And they really should replace those yellowed headlights, it makes a huge difference on the appearance of the car.

But Senna won more. And had almost every pole. And in the 12 races they both finished Senna won 7 to Prost’s 5 (7 to 4 if you discount Australia where Senna had already won the championship). Senna was faster, if less consistent. I like that. I would prefer a system that rewards flashes of brillance over pure

I like winning. I like not penalizing people for flukes. I like the Drivers champion to be decided on the track not in the garage. Speaking again about ‘88 specifically, Senna won more than Prost. He out-qualified Prost 75% of the time. Even Prost says Senna beat him that year. Two of Senna’s dropped races were a DSQ

Who cares? I’m not like a Senna fan or anything. I just like the scoring system that drops several races to allow for things like mechanical failures and other drivers crashing into you. It lets people take risks and push harder knowing that they have a margin for error and therefore rewards the more agressive, “go

And that’s relevant to him beating Prost in 1988 how?

Oh, I know the answer to this! No penalty at all! That’s what happened when Hamilton pulled a more dangerous move than Senna’s on Verstappen at the British GP last year.

I’ve always felt dropping a few races made more sense than keeping every score for a driver’s champion. 1988 was a fluke year for sure, but I wouldn’t say Prost was better than Senna that year. Senna had some weird races and mistakes, but in the end claimed 13 poles and 8 wins out of 16 races, to Prost’s 2 poles and 7

Honestly, the Ioniq 5 knocked the Taycan off the top of my “unlimited budget” car wishlist. It’s the absolute best car on sale right now.

It’s “dogfight football” I think Mav called it. but he definitely said, “offense and defense at the same time.” Invented the game as a team building thing. The scene is just a montage, so the fact that there was 2  footballs never even occurred to me until it was mentioned, honestly.

Seriously, the charging stops at 350KW stations are in the 15-25 minute range and often located walking distance from multiple food options. Use the charging stops as your meals. Is it perfect? No, but nothing is.

She’s an idiot. Many people have taken the EV6/Ioniq 5 on similar road trips and spent barely 4 hours charging over the entire 4 day journey. You MUST plan your route to stop at 350KW electrify America stations, which these cars even come with 2 years of free charging at. If you do, you can charge for 15 minutes and

It’s so backwards. Anyone with a job like pilot should be required to be in therapy. And the therapist should be allowed to ground them at anytime, with no penalty to the pilot or career. really, this should be true for every job out there, but starting with pilots and doctors and stuff would be something

Totally agree. Can’t see how they survive long term without consolidation. But they’re not alone in that, multiple services won’t survive the next few years

Yes, but netflix isn’t TV. They have perpetual syndication of even the shortest series for no cost. Spending tens of millions to create 20-30 hours of story driven content with no provision to wrap up loose ends is bad business as it renders the rest of your investment nearly worthless.

Nothing to do with shows that I like. Having a catalogue full of shows that end with unresolved cliffhangers hurts Netflix, especially as third party content gets harder and harder to come by. I didn’t care enough to get in stranger things, but I’d say it was a bad move if they cancelled it on a cliffhanger. I’m

Of course not. But if they want to keep customers it might make sense to actually finish shows. If it wasn’t for a shared password I wouldn’t have even checked on netflix for years, and even on the rare occasions I still do there’s nothing worth my time.

Yeah, I think it’s the opposite. We sane people need to move to, live in, and work for change in these backwards places. (currently live less than 15 minutes from Kentucky, previously spent many years in California). Deepening the divide between 45% Republican voting and 55% republican voting states is not going to
