I agree with the decision, but the tone is a bit like: you should be happy with not having something that we got you hooked on with. Pardon my non-native-english.

I don’t, and I don’t find this to be anything but a good decision on their part, but the “we’re giving you more by taking this thing away” language is still silly.
The good news for current Tesla owners is that, like that unlimited cell phone data plan we all had in high school, customers who order their Tesla before January 1st and take delivery before April of next year are “grandfathered in,” meaning unlimited juice for life from any of Tesla’s 4,600 Superchargers.
So you think they will reduce the price of their cars?
So, it is about the prophet.
Technically, it’s baked into the price. Are Tesla’s cars going to get cheaper? That’s what economics would dictate. They are shifting a cost to the customer.
I’m grandfathered into Verizon’s unlimited and they are doing all they can to get everyone off that plan. We’ll see how long before the “will never be a profit center” becomes a profit center.
Why is that not a real alternative? Back when America was great, the top tax rate was 91%.
“Free” Newsflash, youre paying for it in the price of the car.
Profit ? Its not about the profit.
The masters of selling a downgrade as an upgrade. Incredible.
So what is the point of a supercar? Auto gearboxes, no matter how great they may be, are for those who hate driving. and bitches
Glad you’re giving supercar manufacturers a reason to invest millions of dollars into a transmission platform that no one wants
People who hated
XJ220*insert supercar here* when it debuted can go and fork themselves. The car is a legend and looked better than most supercars of that era. Hell, it still looks better than most modern supercars.
Totally the Macca F1. 12 to 6 cylinder biat and switch comes face to face with the best car of all time and it’s easy to see why the XJ220 is so unloved.
God will you people shut your mouth holes already. You deliberate contrarians aren’t cool, interesting, or remotely funny
Eh, outsiders and armchair enthusiasts should probably STFU, but anyone who put down a deposit has the right to be upset. Imagine pre-ordering the E60 BMW M5 with the V10, and they call you talkin’ bout “Sorry dude, we’re gonna have to go with a TT Inline-6 but it’s just as quick WE PROMISE.” Even if they were right,…
the people who hated the XJ220 when it debuted were sour because they put deposits down on a V12 car with AWD.
