Same here. He got a bad rap but he is like a Coach they are harmless and good hearted but just a little out there personality wise. I get why they can be tiresome if you are playing with them but on TV they are fun. He never had a chance in his second season but he actually had great strategy until getting voted out

Thank you, I think there is something off about people that would always rather stay home to watch a movie instead of going to a theater.

Last thing my area needs is yet another megachurch

Yeah but other then those and more what other facts are there?

I had a diamond back for this very reason.

This is part of the reason movies suck today. Not enough training montages and no rocking power ballets.

Forgot to mention just how good Needham is at directing couples falling in love also.

Rad is further proof that no director before or since has brought more pure joy to the screen then Hal Needham. This was also back when brands could be cool and let their company be betrayed as villains.

In this specific case, it should have never been investigated. It was a waste of resources. The public outrage is at Aunt Becky not the schools. The schools were protected and the public at large gets to think that this is how corruption in higher ed works. All the while the system continues to work like it always

This is a case that the US Attorney chose to take and chose to go after the parents in this way. They chose to work with Singer and give him a deal to go after Aunt Becky.

They are fixed in that there is a general max where they just don’t have the space and staff to handle anymore. But, schools accept less than this because they want the perception of selectivity. Using the US News list its not until 25 with U Michigan that you have a school that accepts more than 10%. Just 2 privates

On my last point.  Hunter Biden went to Georgetown and Yale Law.  Don Jr went to UPenn.  Do either of them seem like their first name got them in and not their last?  Or W?

There have been two high profile cases in recent years around corruption and higher education. Operation Varsity Blues here and the Adidas basketball case. In both of these overall cases the federal prosecutors have straight up protected the status quo.

This is not going after the corrupt system in any way. This case is protecting that corrupt system. All this case did was to tell rich parents to donate to the school directly instead of a middle man.

Not a single kid from a disadvantaged background got left out because of this. Schools don’t have hard limits on the number of students they admit. So if they can get some foreign student in they will add them to the class even if it was “full” or a kid with parents that just donated a 100k.

If Lori and her husband just wrote the damn check directly to USC their kids would have got in zero question there.

In Operation “Varsity Blues” on the school side its been mostly coaches in low level sports that no one gives a shit about like crew or water polo. There was one with football but even that was a position coach.

They are being punished for not cheating the correct way. They paid a middle man instead of just writing the check to the school which is fine and commendable. No poor kid was screwed over because of this scheme because like you said they just add a kid and what these kids where doing is not in the same pile as kids

Thanks for sharing your shitty lack of taste with us.
