Sure there can be sincere and regular reasons for disliking a movie but that was not the case for the Joker it was hated here because of the perceived politics of the movie.  The dozen or so articles articles that touch on the politics of the movie or the director before its release tell us that.

As someone that looked forward to seeing Good Time based on reviews and trailer but than was bored out of my mind is this movie more good time or is it actually good?

Aqurela is a worse movie than everything listed.  Book Smart was really bad.  Five Feet Apart was trash.  Why Joker when Captain Marvel came out this year?

This was a time when the Dream Factory forgot who they where and thought they where Disney where producers make the films. This lead to a Marvel Theme Park Ride instead of what ever Justice League could/should have been. Maybe the Snyder flick would have sucked maybe it was a masterpiece but at least it would have had…

No. You did not need 25 other movies and 4 TV shows plus 3 different toy lines to understand what is going on. Watching 25 other movies, 4 TV shows and 3 toy lines might give you a deeper context around Joker but they are not prerequisite for the story.

The show can do 10 percent of the viewers of the final season and it would still be significantly more viewers than the Watchmen is pulling.
