I'd probably choose him over Carson or Sessions, to be fair.

I wouldn't change a thing about JJ but I also don't get the complaints about Luke Cage or DD s1 (s2 is another story…).
I hate Sessions as much as the next North-to-South transplant but this is just hateful.
Beethoven was a genius but I don't want him running HUD.
I felt like they tried to walk it back a little over time, but you're right. I think it's the worst misstep the show ever made. Don't know if that's a popular opinion.

Ha, point taken.
I like Xander generally but him ragging on Buffy about Riley at the end of S4 almost wrecked his character for me. Teenage-to-early-twenties boy is kind of a jerk to women—seems legit to me.
She wasn't very good in season 4 but she got a lot better, imo. She actually benefited from having Dawn around.
The Bronze is arguably the most dangerous place in town besides the high school, so I dunno…
Since basically everyone was evil at some point and Willow was clearly the best character on the show, I can't get too worked up about it. And quite a few people died on Buffy, including Xander's squeeze. And the lack of kissing pre-season 4 was network mandated, so I'm not sure Whedon can be blamed for that.
Calling it here: the "moment" is that Lefou shares some sort of romantic moment with human Cogsworth or Lumiere at the end of the movie.
I think the last 2-3 episodes have improved the show quite a bit. It's slight goofy fun but I like the light character work.
I love it.
On the internet, everything is unsettling, or terrifying, or mind-breaking, or whatever. It can't just be amusing.
I love Queen, but I can't really disagree with that. Sheer Heart Attack works front to back for me too, but it's no ANATL.
Orczy is not very good but it DOES have some melodies.
I don't particularly care for Jesusland but Landed is fantastic. All his alums have some good stuff but that good stuff is surrounded by a liot of filler nowdays. In the entire BFF discography there are maybe 3,4 songs I'd lose.
Daddy Was a Real Good Dancer is my favorite song on the album even though it's not very DP-ish. It's a solid album but not up there with Is Terrified, E&I or Change.
Right there with you on Ben Folds—his first solo album is fantastic and everything else is one or two good songs surrounded by leevator music.
