That's a depressing exercise.

The irony about dynamics is that I find the later albums a little wearying in that way—the songs build but when every song builds to having every instrument available, it just loses its punch. Give me the occasional kitchen-sink song like War Criminal or Come Back, I Am Waiting any day.

The only M83 I really love is Dead Cities. Before the Dawn Heals Us is fun but hasn't held up as well and I couldn't get into any of their later, more popular stuff.

This is exactly my ranking except I'd switch M&A and TLCW. I never got the buzz for Good News and the newest one is their worst by a long shot.

Outside is a slog for me, but I think Heathen is one of his better albums, full stop, and Reality is good too.

Only if he's commuting, working out, or doing stuff around the house.

Okkervil River is best when they're a little more raucous and Gothic. The further they moved into the rock star narrative, and toward slow ballads, the worse they got. I think their golden period is Don't Fall in Love through BSB, Stage Names and Stand-Ins are good, and everything else is just ok to lousy/boring,

Their last two albums are quite good though. Not Pink or Blue good but head and shoulders about everything from Maladroit to Hurley.

That seems nuts, but MM lost me at Good News so what can I say? I actually like We Were Dead.. much better.

Fake Plastic Tress = not on Ok Computer.

She was good in Adventureland, albeit playing herself, pretty much.

Fair. Though if this guy died it would be the weirdest celerity "scandal".

Well, they're too strong. But I'm not sure what to call it—isn't the idea that he'll eat these pictures to his own detriment just a way to force Segel to do what he wants?

I really hate this crap. Why give this guy any attention whatever? It sounds dramatic but this really just very minor blackmail/extortion.

Only so many careers can be kicked off by the same movie.

I don't really understand it from any perspective. Won't some guys get walked 100% of the time now that they won't even have a chance to swing at a ball? Why would you ever pitch to a home run guy?

e-Sports? Do you mean Clickscreen?

Boo to this article. Baseball is great.

Michael Ian Black seems like a natural choice for this show.
