I feel like a lot of people who read P&P don't see how Mr Bennet's parenting, or lack thereof, contributed to all the drama in his daughters' lives. It's been a while since I read it but that really stuck to to me.

Hi, "Miracleman is Moore's best work" buddy!

I actually enjoyed it until the very end. It goes from this creepy thing to a chase story, which is fine but there's a good reason chases aren't usually written in letter format.

I read Silence this year too. It's incredible. AND Power and the Glory? Two of my favorite novels. We could be reading buddies. I read Name of the Rose this year too.

Those side cutouts on the pants are ridiculous.

I've read about 30 of King's books, and I actually DO think Cujo is one of his best. Very bleak, very tight. Even his really good later books suffer from a lot of bloat.

To be honest, I thought it was a little silly to have her dressed as Hillary, and I was as devastated by Trump's win as anyone. On the other hand, I thought it was a really nice performance so I'm still ok with it.

The pilot is pretty good until the end. The idea that a parody of Modern Major General about television is the best possible kick-off skit for a new season of a sketch show is so misguided it makes the last 5 minutes of the episode unintentionally hilarious.

Plath was funnier.

They're good and you can probably read the whole series in less time than it takes to watch this series. (I think the series looks good).

I watched some clips and in the clips I watched, there wasn't any clearly idenitifiable political stuff. But… I'm with you. I honestly didn't understand where the humor was a lot of times, and not in a "this is stupid" kind of way. More in a "I'm not sure where the joke is at all" kind of way.

I like him but this is too good.

Can someone spoil this?

I haven't seen BvS, but in MoS, Lois was definitely shoehorned in. I don't feel the same way about Kidder though. Sorry if my comment wasn't clear.

Yeah, is it common wisdom that Margot Kidder's Lois is there just to serve the story? She's a pretty important character. Can't really disagree about Adams in MoS though.

The first one was such a pleasant surprise—felt like a story from a lesser comic run on the character, which was fine.

I'M NOT EVEN GAY AND THIS IS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL

Santino's reprise of West Covina with the piano is one of the best stagings the show ever did.

This was worth 2 seconds of my life!

I'm not going to say I love this, but I am going to say it sounds a lot more interesting than Game of Oz in the trailer above.
