This ought to make a really fun two episodes. Wonder if Hulu will get the unaired ones?

I love Dolly Parton. She's the main reason I can't wait for 2016 to end.
I am a male but I basically was Vada behavior-wise. Not that I'm proud, but it's a real thing.
I agree with your thoughts on the ending. I'm not sure about the crying thing… it seems to me that both the criers and the "I'm cooler because I didn't cry" girls are reacting to stereotypes rather than just being who they are.
I think My Girl is a great movie, and it seems like anyone who thinks Vada is unrealistic has never met a really precocious kid?
That's all fair. I appreciated the ambition of TE more than I liked the execution. Part of it for me (and I realize this is a personal hangup) is that it was difficult for me to totally buy into a story starring mostly minorities written by a quintessential "white guy". I don't know what that says about me or the book…
That 11 page sentence was my favorite part of Telegraph Avenue. The Obama portion was the worst. Telegraph Avenue didn't do much for me though. This sounds interesting.
All of them!
Better than the rest! Green to red!
I had my first comment deleted by an admin today. It was a mystifying, humbling experience.
Sure, but isn't that likely to be just as big an issue for a streaming show?
There was also the him from the alternate universe.
Let's make it an even ten.
I have to admit, I love the idea of someone's two favorite authors being Murakami and Robinson.
I'm not offended by this article but it does seem a little off-message for AVC.
Justified and Rectify are so good, you'd think more show might get set there.
I have had that white noise machine for 4 years. This is the best day of my life.
I think being a band's only fan would be cool. You get to definitively rank their albums—who's going to tell you different?
No idea, but I can't figure out any way to see my old posts now. Not that it was a great loss, but there were 1500 of them.
Not only have we lost our country, but I lost my AVC Disqus account.
