Let’s assume 1$ costs 10 yen for simplicity.
I don’t have the time to explain how dumb that comment was. Just trust me.
I kinda think that’s the idea...
On one hand, this feels... dirty. I’ve never seen an expansion pass like this for a typical mainline entry in the series.
And Final Fantasy XV! And Cold Steel 2! And a new Phoenix Wright! And Dragon Quest VII! And a new Destiny raid! Can’t even handle all this.
This cosplay really didn’t click for me. I can’t really piece together why. Maybe because most people just shit bricks when they see it.

Why indeed
There’s no usb-port or any other port for a storage medium. It will take a looooooooong time and self-made adapters.
Every Lumines needs “Shinin’”. Not every Lumines has “Shinin’”.
If we want to turn it into Neo-Tokyo, then surely the idea would be to focus solely on progress and ignore those pesky problems like economic hardships and homelessness. Push them down into the slums where they can’t bother people.
I still think they should’ve called it “Coin Eater” instead.
I’ll add that although I think this is rad (and adorable), what we really need is a mini-SNES, ideally one that lets you play/buy any SNES game. I’d pay good money for that.
E3 Before internet boom: Wow so many new games in progress
