Small complaints to an otherwise fantastic update-

My favorite part is how all of my pictures of my pet rats are flagged as “Dogs”.

All I want to know is how to rig the voting so that my faves get played. I don’t believe in democracy. The plebs have shitty taste in tunes anyway. It’s best that I take over.

Funny you say that. The editor in me is practically drooling at the idea of getting so much wonderful footage to go through. We live for that sort of shit.

Yeah I just placed an order for a 2 gig external that cost more than this about 8 hours ago. Arg.

Samsung makes pretty damn good hard drives. I've been using a Samsung internal 1.5tb hard drive for 5yrs, no issues.

That is a great deal, but Netflix is offering it for free.

Couldn't that be construed as obstruction of justice?

That's why I still use XMARKs, I can just setup multiple syncing profiles. Not sure if this bookmark maanger will break XMarks in any way...

Haha, I'm sure it's a lot of both :P

Google must do some great market research on real users, or else they are just so damn smart to be able to know exactly what I want before I do

True, but sales in general, along with coupons, etc., are designed to make you buy things you wouldn't normally buy. If you can resist that impulse, then you're ahead of the game.

More accurately: The more you buy in bulk, the more you save. If you're going to use one roll of toilet paper per week, it's more cost effective to get 52 rolls for the year up front (if you have the space) than buy them one at a time.

How about....it's Tuesday, play music to get me thru the hell of work until i can find a new job?

You know, y'all are pretty awesome for running stories about things like this, and ad blockers and the like. These kinds of things would most directly influence your bottom line, and yet you inform the public anyway. Major respect earned.

How did I miss that?! Thanks, I'll add that to the post.

Yeah, the only way you can really get a feel for it is by using it—not even the video does it perfectly. It's a very interesting approach, and while I won't be using it myself, I like that they've tried something a bit different from the old "buddy list/IM window" paradigm.

Google Code is not a free hosting site for closed projects. The author claims a GPL3 license, but only binaries are available; the svn repo is empty. This isn't what Google Code is for.
