Its the same as any other copper cable, it's the interface that makes Thunderbolt great, not the physical cable. Because it transmits power and signal together shouldn't add $35 to a cable.
I tried a couple of these apps out on my Android as they were free, but don't have enough songs as i use Spotify! Would happily pay for a Spotify version!
