It seems a lack of security has led to horrible pop country from the Florida-Georgia line, so maybe that’s a good platform.

I don’t consider Gulden’s as stone ground. Stone ground is almost like deli mustard, gritty with horseradish and other spices. Many restaurants think I mean dijon when I ask for brown mustard. Also not the same thing.

I still don’t understand why that just don’t use pitching machines. A lot more control over the placement and speed of the pitches, and easier for the batters to get into a rhythm. I doubt anyone gets excited about popups to deep short because the batter got a bad pitch to swing at because they were running out of

Either one is correct. The latter is awkward, but allowed, depending on which grammar book / style guide to which you refer.

I think it depends on the sport. For many of us, it’s a way to be involved in the sports we enjoy, especially if we no longer have the ability to play it competitively. But it’s a tough vocation - no matter how knowledgeable of the sport you are, you have to deal with angry coaches, players and fans who don’t like

Officiating AAU basketball is not a fun experience. I refuse to work any more tournaments. They are totally money-making operations first. Even last year’s incidents with Lamar Ball’s team are not unusual.

#5 works, unless your neighbor is Winston Wolfe.

Magnets. Those are special cups with magnetized bases. Put the cup on the tap, it pushes up the bottom and fills it from the bottom. The magnet provides a good enough seal to prevent leaks, supposedly. But it must be expensive since it looks like the cups are single-use only.

The benefit that NFL and NCAA FCS officials have about targeting calls is replay. If it’s called on the field, it can be reviewed upstairs to confirm the call. In the NCAA, the call itself can come from upstairs. So there’s less inherent risk of “blowing the call” and disqualifying a player unnecessarily.

That’s treated differently due to the initial position of the defenders (those initiating the contact). Starting from a two- or three-point stance from within a yard from the line of scrimmage, a hit does not carry the same momentum and violent power as from a running start.

“Agreed”

Per MLB: Visits to the mound to clean cleats in rainy weather, to check on an injury or potential injury, or after the announcement of an offensive substitution, are excepted from official mound visits.

Not sure if the question is meant to be sarcastic or not (hard to tell online), but I think it means the crew (and maybe MLB umpires in general at the time) were getting reprimanded behind the scenes from MLB for letting conflicts like this get out of hand. “Ass in the jackpot” sounds like “asses on the line” to me.

I don’t understand Spanish, but I do understand OOF.

Christensen was also a guest star on at least one episode of T7S.

“Wafflestomp” is going to be my new safe word.

Nailed it.

I guess he choked on his chance.
