I think they got their numbers confused on the website. The probably got the ft-lbs number and used it as the newton-meter reading. Then did the conversion. There is no way an LS3 is making such low torque numbers.

Here I was ready to be "that guy". I read it and was asking myself the same thing. It is way more than 317. It is a 6.2 litre pushrod V8. It would be a travesty for them to tune it to make such low torque numbers.

Ford vs Chevy has just turned into Ford and Chevy vs the World. Ford GT, Corvette Z06, Mustang GT-350 and R, future mid engined Corvette. Sounds like Detroit is intent on kicking some serious European ass.

It is the same crappy fuel delivery system in the FA20 that the Toyobaru twins get if I am not mistaken.

It is all about racing. The turbo 6 will give it an edge when it comes to competing in LeMans and other sports car series. I would have loved to see the 5.2 flat plane V8 in it just for noise sake. But I can't argue with the power it is going to be making.

You should see the interior on them. Late 80s early 90s at their finest.

All I need now is a couple hundred million dollars. Yeah this will probably only cost 200k or so. But I need to build a climate controled building to house it along with the Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider that they found in that barn in France. So much want and being broke don't mix.

Here I was about to make (what I thought was) a smart comment, when all of a sudden I read: "you ever take it of any sweet jumps?". All I can say is instant brain fart. I now understand why Mr. Levine was so thrown off. On a side note, I wonder if this is the transmission that was being co-developed with GM?

According to wikipedia the Stark took two Exocet missles and didn't lose the ability to stay in the fight if need be. Thank you for your service Sir.

I think that they will be very reliable. Most of the technology has matured enough to become reliable. Ford has tested the crap out of them in all kinds of conditions. They are even racing with them. Will they be SBC reliable? Probably not. But those engines have had ages to mature and improve. I am not a huge

The EPA tends to use a more scientific approach when it comes to testing fuel economy. They do their testing in a lab environment. They strap the vehicle to a dyno and simulate real world conditions. This allows the to test all vehicles under as close to identical conditions as possible. The downside to this is that

If you ask me this issue creates even more problems than base closures in the U.S. I look at it this way. Do some European countries need to start pulling their own weight when it comes to international conflicts, yes definitely. But when you look a bit deeper you realize that in many cases the populations and the

From what I have read GM had initially wanted to go the big cube small block route with similar power levels. The problem was that the couldn't get one emissions compliant. Hence they went FI. I actually laughed out loud when I read that because I remember reading (many years ago) how the introduction of some new

Rules don't allow for stock cars to be raced. If I recall correctly I think the Corvette that is raced in endurance racing is actually less powerful than the production car. Don't quote me on this but I believe it is limited to something like 5.5 Liters of displacement. It is NA and it definitely makes less power

This is childsplay compared to what people in third world countries go through. Here in Venezuela it is so blatant that law enforcement officials will directly ask you for money for "coffee". The levels of corruption in this country are somethig that have that would make people in the first worlds stomachs churn.

Lol yeah. I love that guys work and the way he aproaches his builds, but your description did fit him perfectly.

You wouldn't like the Hilux, it is ab0ut as low rent as they come. The only thing worse would probably be the Land Cruiser 70 series. Solid axles all around and the same interior that came in the Land Cruiser in the 80s. Sure they are functional and rugged but they are ot up to the standards of most american

I am guessing it is a pretty safe bet that the Tacoma will use the 4.0 that is available in the 4Runner. 270hp and 278ft-lbs seems adecuate for the Tacoma. Any more than that and people would cross shop it with the Tundra.

For some weird reason I can't help but think of Magnus Walker when I read this post.

Porsche need to stick the GT3 engine in that car and call it a day. Price be damned. The GT3 and this GT4 are so "Hard Core" that they are never going to be mass produced. So if you ask me they should just go balls to the wall. But then again I think Lamborghini screewed the pooch by not putting into production the
