Needs more Can’t Hardly Wait.

Aye, ‘The Great War’ is the First, I think they mean ‘the good war’, which is something I remember reading about the ra-ra war heroism films and TV shows of the late 1990s. The argument being that it advanced the narrative of the Second World War being a good thing, presumably to make people view current conflicts

They’re ALL great, each in its own special way.

Our “Great War” is a spiritual war…

It’s Amateur Hour up in this joint today...

I went to see Titanic multiple times on its first release, and I can vividly remember the last time was in September of that year.  It was CRAZY how long that movie played in theaters.

I believe the repeated shots of the post are meant to evoke the top of a traditionally shaped queen piece.

Your 20s are behind you and now you’ve got a spouse, kids and maybe even a home to show for it.

He was free to express himself. And he was free to get his ass kicked. The system still works.

Jesus christ, that biathalon or whatever it’s called where you shoot the gun and ski, I alwasy was dead fucking last... I was like 3 playing this and nothing frustrated me more. Oh lode runner also... frick

My four word endorsement: young, naked Rupert Graves. (Not that older, clad silverfoxdaddy Rupert Graves is anything to sneeze at. I am incapable of watching him in Sherlock without blurting out “FUCK, JUST TAKE ME”, which my partner greatly appreciates, I’m sure.)

For clarity’s sake—every band from the 90s that is still active stinks, or every 90s band that ever existed did, does, and will always stink?

The real house is a classic split-level. Central level on the right with the living room, kitchen and dining room, stairs up to the bedrooms (probably three) and stairs down to the den. This is very similar to the house I grew up in.

I’m digging this show but it feels like it should air in autumn. If they get a second season I hope they air it when it is slightly colder outside - when leaves are changing colour, for example. Feels like a show I should watch wrapped in blankets to help me deal with the increasing tension and suspense. It feels

That was a great scene, and I feel like it’s the core of what Stephen King’s writing is all about: evil as a sickness that’s spread by one ancient thing.

If you paid attention, you would’ve heard Jackie say she CHANGED her name to her dead uncle’s. Her actual name is Diane Torrance.

The scene with Henry and the doctor wasn’t post Shawshank, it was 2 years ago in Texas. You can tell, because the woman has a houston accent and is suprised to know he’s from Maine.

I’m not all the way sure he knows she can do that. She started to tell him when they were kids but his dad called him home so I don’t think he really got it. Not sure if she really talked to him about in the the present.

I think he died while Henry was missing I’m pretty sure. He survived the fall and would have probably lived it looked like but Molly turned his life support off. Still want to know what else she knows.

Yeah I like the way they did that family murder scene. I was thinking it was him as a kid, but the scene with Alan now has me wondering since he hasn’t aged in 20+ years. I also am not sold on him being the devil. I think he is more like one of the supernatural people on Haven, and he just can’t control the shit he
