Damn that’s a good post.

That GEO Storm is now on BaT - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-geo-storm-gsi/

That would be absolutely amazing. Paris -> Dakar Rally, Mongolia, etc. would be so fun.

I do not. The pennies per year the difference between 20 mpg and 30 mpg offers me isn’t worth even looking at. In fact, in shopping for a car, it’s not even a factor. I consider any kind of ‘fuel economy’ modern enough. Most cars are just fine, trucks too. In a nut shell, for me this falls into the realm of things I

This is pretty cool and all but.. didn’t you drive a minivan around Germany a while back? Is there ever going to be a write-up on that? Seems like it died on the vine.

I’m very frustrated / annoyed with the NOCO product. I bought their jumper and there are no leads that match up to the adapters that are pretty much on every motorcycle and every other battery charging system.

“It’s Fine.”

I finally bought a big Harley myself after riding Triumph’s and BMW’s for years (all sorts) and other misc. Japanese bikes. I love my Harley. It’s a ‘92 Heritage Softail, and it’s now my favorite bike.

This guy is trash - however, I could argue that he doesn’t actually have a seat in F1 driving for Haas.

YES..! This.

Good luck David! Also please stop buying tires from junk yards..

Oh shut up.

So you were the one ..

I would participate in that.

Hi David,

We used to have emissions inspections back in the day. You had to spend about $50 at a shop, take your inspection slip to the Sec. of State (DMV for you non-Michiganders) and they would only then give you your tabs. That ended in 1995 - since then, yes, we literally have zero inspections. It definitely contributes to

I agree this makes zero sense to me .. that guy needs to pick up his car or just haul it to the junk yard.

hahaha what a bunch of clowns. I sincerely hope they are saving every penny because in <5 years they’ll be 100% broke and looking at this video like.. “..aw mannnnn my snack bar..!”

No question these are poorly maintained, could easily be rupturing fuel lines a la Ferrari.
