What kills me is that if Amazon had chosen a city with less, well, New Yorkiness.. (if anyone has lived there they get what I’m saying here..) they wouldn’t have these issues. There are plenty of cities that would NOT have to go “go to war with Amazon..” they would welcome them with open arms and bend over backwards…

This should have been the car they made from day 1. I would love to have one, of course it’s out of my price range.

Honestly, you should not be driving this thing on the road at all. You are driving a parts car man.. seriously it sounds super dangerous.. and I’ve driven some real garbage in my day. 

I think that’s right, but the flip side is this is the BEST time of year to buy a clunker - especially the closer you get to Christmas! 

Why don’t you just junk 8/9 of these and buy something decent? I’ve been down your road before, it just ends in having no money and constant frustration. I guess it’s good fodder to write about though.

This is the moment.. Ford has jumped the proverbial shark. Unreal.. that company lacks focus in many ways (pun intended!) and continues to spiral under their buffoon of a CEO. This is a symptom of a much larger problem, and that problem is that Ford thinks that it is a “mobility company” which is absurd.

Seriously you need to toss that thing - take the drive train and other bits and junk it.

+1000 - They didn’t do a damn thing, because they don’t. I had a girlfriend who’s x boyfriend was stalking both of us. I had 8 formal police reports from 2 areas and she still couldn’t get a PPO. This guy followed us around everywhere in his car, mostly her, and would walk into restaurants if she was with her friends.…

You should pack all fluids, not just oil. Can’t hurt to get a small floor jack either, the kind that is in a carry-case. You need some JB-Weld (JB-Quick) and either duct gape, or that nice black gaffer tape which sticks to anything and is super strong.

In my experience, if you bring tools, nothing will break. Honestly I think you guys will be fine. You might get some weird noises and other scary things, but my prediction is that nothing will strand you. The WORST thing I could see happening is your alternator giving up the ghost, but if you bring a spare, it won’t…

I agree with this approach as well - and as far as keeping it original - why? Having a different and / or better engine (now is your chance to really give it some power) may even increase the value of it. No offense but it’s in rough shape dude, and I haven’t seen you put together a car yet that is of any show-type…

It is the single greatest anti-theft device in existence - a topic covered here quite a bit but worth re-re-re-re-mentioning. 

In the video the guy at the end saying “It will re-write history...” give me a break .. so much drama, it’s just a car and yet another mustang at that.  Giant meh on this thing.
