Crystalis. It’s one of the NES’s underrated gems, and a must-play for anyone who wants Zelda-style gameplay mixed with RPG elements. The graphics definitely need some polish (they were more functional than good-looking), but it was such a fun game to play.

...re-read. That definitely says “minors”.

Do they make these in kids’ sizes? Asking, for a friend.”

Ron Funches is delightful! and always worth watching , ...but uurrgh a James Cordon interview. Its like finding fifty dollars in the street but its covered in a massive turd.

How do you explain dead pixels then, eh? Checkmate.

Now playing

A reminder that the daughter from the Taken movies also has merely the slimmest of grasp on the mechanics of running:

On the downside, when the sticks drift, they really drift.

Won’t someone think of the McElroys?

Very rude of them to do this while Griffin McElroy is on paternity leave and can’t grieve.

Something I love about ‘The Prestige’ is that it tips its hand in a way you don’t notice until you know the twist. Once you discover that (SPOILERS, if you still haven’t seen it) Christian Bale is playing identical twins that pretend to be one man, you can see he’s playing the brothers as two entirely different

Personally I’ve kind of mellowed out on my dislike of Snyder. He’s definitely a Libertarian and an Objectivist but I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad about the guy. At worst he’s just a clueless meathead who likes problematic things without really understanding why they’re problematic.

A similar thing happened on Warcraft II back when I ran Blizzard’s QA department. A combination of not explicit enough instructions from me and a distracted tester following them resulted in a (fortunately) brief loss of the entire source code for the game and earned the poor guy the (credited in the manual) nickname

This movie was solidly good until the end credits, at which point it rapidly transcended every other comedy that year

The scene where Jenko figured out Schmidt slept with the Captain’s daughter is some of Channing Tatum’s best acting.

This is basically the plot to “Middlesex”

Hitler was the no-talent assclown who became famous and started invading countries!

And for you classic Kotaku readers, here you go.

I workedshopped a few different takes on this image. At one point things got crazy.

No Kotaku fish?

Ah yes. The T(all)-Virus.
