Great week for bird games - Skatebird got funded and the Xbox Game Pass for PC brought Hatoful Boyfriend to a new audience (along with a bunch of other underrated gems).

If Fox wanted to set up a climactic finale for the franchise, they ought to have packed it in after Days of Future Past or Logan. Both established a decent end to the franchise, but even if you could get the audience invested in more prequels, this had a lot of strikes against it from the start.

I’ll be honest, from the first trailers I didn’t expect much out of this, but it’s got a solid cast and competent-looking mechanics, on top of all the trademark Kojima bizarreness. With this (and The House in Fata Morgana’s Reincarnation chapter) being a Sony exclusive, I might have to bite the bullet and buy a PS4.
