It’s not as if the game managed to magically vanish from the 60k PCs that installed it.I don’t know if it needs to pass a server check to run, but the files are still around for people to save/upload later.

The Vita’s problem was that, while Borderlands 2 was also scaled down and capped at 30FPS, it frequently couldn’t actually output 30 frames a second. It’s too early to say for certain, but it sounds like DOOM at least runs at a steady framerate.
900p with full areas dropping to 40PFS? This whole ‘true 4k experience’ with the X is so far beyond what I thought a console could provide.
I think the last time I bought a ‘new’ Final Fantasy any time within a year of its release was the FFIV remake for the DS (not money well spent), but give me a Yoko Taro FF game and I’ll throw down the money for a preorder.
I mean, clearly, someone’s throwing around some small amount of change for this, but why? I feel like people who actually buy based on metacritic scores don’t care much about the user rating, unless Ubisoft is just trying to bring it up to match the paid review scores.
We can argue on and on about whether or not Skyrim was a ‘good’ game, but I enjoyed that it left you with a compass, and if you wanted more than that, you had to open a damn map. Granted, points of interest also showed up on the compass bar, and that could get distracting, but at least quest markers were easy enough…
I’m on board, but I’m curious about why Unreal Engine is the tool of choice here. Definitely not what comes to mind when you think JRPG. I hope it’s not a signal that it’s moving away from the traditional turn-based formula; that’s what spinoff franchises are for.
Yeah, it was already something like 112-115GB when I reinstalled it a couple months ago; I guess UWP doesn’t support basic concepts like ‘file compression’. I can deal with the ridiculous amount of HDD space, but the Windows Store continues to be the worst experience I’ve ever had with an authorized digital…
Is this the 2017 version of “I was only pretending to be retarded”?
Put it on your list - the plot’s somehow the dumbest of any of them, but it plays more like a real Star Fox than any of the other spinoffs.
Hope someone got ejected for that shit. Suspended would be better, but I’ll take what I can get.
Yeah, the tone definitely seems like it’s taking a respectful look at teenage social issues, although without playing I can’t judge how well it’s actually handled. I just wonder how many people will be turned off by the pastel colors and princess dress-up costumes; usually it seems like female-lead RPGs need to be at…
Honestly it sounds a lot like modern Persona, but replacing SMT elements with magical girls. It doesn’t look like a bad game, it just looks... unbearably cutesy.
Is Chris LaPlaca just a pseudonym for Sean Spicer?
Nicalis is, for better or worse, an actual game development studio. None of the creators of the original game actually work for them, although obviously a large deal of direction for Rebirth came from Edmund.
Is there any point in keeping the player’s name anonymous when the suit appears to give away enough details for the player to be tracked down anyways? Bet it wouldn’t be hard to get a list of 6'5", 278lb football players suspended in April 2016 before apparently transferring to another school...
Came down here to note that it seems like it’s based on DotP’s engine, and if that’s the case, I’m not expecting a whole lot of flexibility (or even stability, honestly).
Two men getting in another man’s pants? Don’t they know that Jesús is watching?
Even if I don’t agree with it, I can see the reasoning behind the body-cam law, in that limiting the availability of the footage limits the degree to which the public can be influenced before a trial. It’ll rarely, if ever, be used in that context, though.
It was an incredibly close match going into that last set, and a couple different hits either way could’ve swung the whole thing. I get that emotions were running high, but it seemed a bit disrespectful that ET started celebrating so early that they had to cut away from the game screen before the KO was even displayed…
