I'm wondering the same thing about Ariel Winter. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a cast departure in the future.

I thought the scene with Claire crying was so phony and over acted. I think Jay and Phil are great together.

I think this season has turned out to be a lot better than last season. I thought season. 5 was the worst of the series.

I thought it was a funny episode. I would have given it a solid "B." I especially liked the scenes with Jay/Phil and Claire/Luke. This episode was not well received and I think it was an all time low for the show when you look at total viewers. People might be getting sick of this show. Kinda looking that way.

I think the reason why Claire and Mitchell are so close is that they had kind of a tough childhood. Jay and Dee Dee got divorced when they were young and he raised them himself with a limited income until he got his closet business going.

I liked this episode and must say that this season is better than last season. You can tell that the entire cast has fun and they really love and respect each other on and off the screen. I think we can expect Modern Family to stick around for at least a couple more years.

I agree with you but what other competition does Modern Family have in the comedy field? The majority of shows on network TV nowadays are crime dramas, "reality shows" and talent contests. I agree! Claire was at her worst in "Marco Polo." She was borderline evil.
