I don’t think the ecobee is better. I have one as part of a one year trial of an energy plan with Gulf Power.

When I was a kid, some forty years ago, these crabs were all over the Santa Rosa Sound and on the beach at my parents property. Then, there was a big die-off and I never saw another one. The only thing I’ve suspected is the sewage from Pensacola Beach which has regularly overflowed or leaked into the Sound for decades.
