Actually, those are some good use cases. I mean Blockbuster did build their entire business around renting physical media, and selling old, formerly rented media at a discounted price, all of which could apply here to cell phones.

They should rent phones. It'd be a drug dealer's wet dream!

Oh, I just assumed that they were referring to phones that were stolen. I assumed the average person couldn't "lose" a phone that's plugged in...

I wouldn't rely too heavily on that last tip regarding limiting your searches to places near computers or outlets if you see that your lost iPhone is plugged in. The thief could have it plugged in in their car, right? Or potentially have some kind of external battery (unlikely, sure). I would just be careful not to

Yeah, you said it very succinctly. It's about window switching. People who don't see any productivity increase probably aren't working with enough windows.

I was never sure who to believe about multi-monitor productivity, so to ensure that I'm as productive as can be, I bought two 27" ACDs.

I just assumed this was sending e-mails to student e-mail addresses, so they would be all gmail.

Haha yeah I never really noticed that before, but now I'm interested in how many other common expressions/terms differ in really tiny ways across the country.

That is awesome LOL This is WAY better than if you had apologized.

I'm from NY, and I've never really thought about it. I'd like to stay that I use them interchangeably, but I can't really recall which I use, because I never really noticed the difference until just now. A quick google says it's a Northeastern US/New England thing.

    Oh, I have another one.

When I was in my early teens, I was in Disney World with my parents on line for some ride. Before some of the rides, while you're waiting on line, they'll often have these videos that sort of set the stage for the ride and keep you entertained while you wait. On this particular ride, the video followed some villain,

Good point! Now I need to rethink the contents of my wallet.

Haha better throw that thing out man, that's how babies are made!

Perhaps I have a different relationship with my best friend than you do. We pick out really interesting, thoughtful gifts for each other. That's what happens when you know someone really well. You can pick out gifts that they'll genuinely enjoy. I'm sorry that you don't have any friends close enough to you to

Yeah there is something very wrong with that photo.

You fault him for making a blanketing statement with another blanketing statement? Congratulations, you've won today's Idiot Award.

Thanks! I'll send you a signed copy.

That's a completely valid point. I suppose I'd have to look more into the specific patent and see just how broad it is. I agree, though, that patenting broad ideas just stifles innovation and is a game that only larger companies (like Apple) can even afford to play.

    Thanks!
