    The whole show got obnoxious as hell, so I stopped watching.

    This is how I feel about a lot of comics and graphic novels these days.

    Frankly, I just want to see a fantasy series where the people don't try to sound like they're reading Shakespeare in a world that just looks like it was just ripped off from Medieval history or another fantasy series.

    We're making progress as a culture, but I still feel that we have a long way to go.

    Men are often called "boys" (e.g. "one of the boys"). These arguably-degrading terms are not female exclusive, but they're certainly more prevalent when applied to women.
