Same. I got sober in July 2020. My drinking was heavy before the pandemic, for sure, but went into overdrive when the world shut down. I have also been doing 12 step meetings and stepwork, and have found them really helpful for coping with just life in general (in addition to keeping me sober).

I don’t know how I got here, and I don’t know who this is, respectfully. But massive admiration and respect to her in being so transparent, open, and expressive about this healing. Namely because this existential journey she had is mirrored by tens of thousands (more?) of *not* famous people, and this is something

I’m really glad she’s getting better and has found a community and support system to help her navigate sobriety.

My advice to every women who had a first baby after I had my first baby was to ignore the lactation consultants, send the baby to the hospital nursery so you can sleep and recover, and do whatever doesn’t drive you crazy when you get home. Too many of those consultants are bullies, weaponizing health messages against

I would by lying if I said that part of the reason I decided not to have children is because the idea of this happening to my body is so inherently petrifying. No amount of Cute Baby Promise could get me to sign on for this. Fuck no. And that is an okay choice!

It’s a good way to get your way in the moment, but used too often it has a nasty habit of eating away at respect. My parents used to use that one on me and after a while the response in my head became “ Oh, F#$% You....”

How original and different they are from other people. How nobody else (but each other) understood their weirdness and refusal to conform to society. How deeply they think and feel.

No wonder Meghan thought she’d be able to deal with Harry’s shit family.

No sort of defamation or slander is needed to make Samantha Markle and her father look bad - they do a fantastic job of portraying themselves as massive assholes all on their own.

However I’ve come to feel about Harry and Meghan lately (they’re vainglorious and boring) I will 100% be on their side when it comes to the Markles.

No better reason to exercise your 2nd Amendment rights, ranchers. It’s their property and they deserve to have a sense of peace and safety.

That looks exactly how I’d stand around a professional colleague I was required to spend time with.

Harry absolutely did the right thing and I’m so glad he supported her. They both did the right thing and eff the rest of the family for taking affront.

The issue is women’s pain not being taken seriously by the medical world. That is fucked up. Women should be able to get the healthcare they need (IUDs, biopsies, colposcopies, etc...) without being tortured because of outdated information regarding nerves in our cervixes.

What an unhinged sexual deviant. Imagine anyone publicly fantasizing about the violent sexual humiliation of female royal members without ending up on a watch list?

Right? His ableism is like Kanyes anti-Black racism.

Or maybe it’s not 1941 anymore, and everyone but you figured out that signing up for war in the 21st century means a bunch of defense contractors get richer and that’s it. You’ll notice wealthy kids like the Trumps or the Kennedys don’t go to war. I guess you missed the lessons of the last few wars.

Imagine having such a sexist view of your very own sex that you think men are only meant to fight and be feared? I would be extra pissed off at this if I were a man.

“Will you become a man to be feared?”

America is weak. Her sons are sickly and her daughters are decrepit,”
