If only this kind of miracle technology could be integrated into something portable I could carry around in my pocket with me at all times.

Gosh maybe educational bodies shouldn’t be tasked with meting out justice in matters where their incentives could become misaligned?

Given the middle of effen nowhere California location of Harris Ranch, there’s likely plenty of room and sun for a giant solar farm, though.

This understates the tech upgrade.  The current interface is a dealbreaker for some consumers.  Supposedly this is a massive revision.  Likely the interface is more important than the power boost for many potential customers.

Big difference between the jobs being done by office workers and warehouse employees. The CEO of my company has us on 2 days/week in office. I drive half an hour to the office, sit at my desk, and attend Teams meetings all day, then I drive home. The days I work from home I walk down the hall to my home office, and att

That is taking into account all EV’s, including $200k+ Taycans and Lucids.  If you look at the sales leader, Tesla, I bet their average sales price is very nearly $48k, maybe lower.  Tax incentives shave even more off.  In another 10 years, used EV’s will be plentiful and anybody that wants one will be able to afford

It’s not really a secret that most car dealerships don’t actually like EVs. They need a lot less routine maintenance and repair than ICE vehicles which means dealers lose a lucrative source of revenue. They also require infrastructure that dealerships largely had to pay for. It’s not really a surprise that they are

I’m sure they could, but a big portion of their GDP goes directly to the federal government and then to the southern states that run deficits every year

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not see the luxury here.

I wonder when carmakers are going to calm the f--k down and stop making 500hp versions of their cars that nobody needs.

It’s just very hard to get excited in any way for yet another RAV-4/CR-V-sized crossover EV. Here! Choke at the price! Here! Pay almost-Rivian R1S bucks for the Type S even though it has like 250 fewer horses and no third row! Here! The most whelming Acura interior you’ve ever seen! Not over, not under. Just whelming!

It’s super frustrating and feels like you have to have your head pretty deep in the sand to not see how to the broader world “they killed Jesus” is used to almost exclusively talk about the Jews. Obviously from context he wasn’t doing that, but maybe we shouldn’t be treating this like a culture war and just accept

I’m not particularly interested in anything GM sells for a whole host of reasons. However, I’ll say this - I wouldn’t buy a vehicle in 2023 that didn’t have Car Play support. I’m not terribly interested in learning a second system just so a car company can avoid a license fee.

What is GM’s motive here? I’m sure there’s licensing and copyright agreements that cost money, but do Android Auto and Apple Carplay systems really cost that much to integrate into car entertainment systems? Pass the cost onto the consumer. I’ll pay and I’m pretty sure the rest of us would, too. I have factory

Blame the consumer for not supporting overprice capitalism. good on gen z for not blowing their money on overpriced poison.

Novel idea:
Instead of going out and blowing $25k before you’re established in a job and have a known steady income, just keep what you have for a year or so so you get a better grasp on life and what you’ll actually need.

Although her neglect was egregious and did end up endangering people’s lives, it is a fact that putting her away is not going to solve the problems of her being able to parent a child with profound conduct issues. It is NOT in the state’s interests nor in the child’s interests in hauling her off to jail. She should be

Look, we have pretty good models that are able to mathematically predict how long a secret or conspiracy can stay covered up based off of how many people and organizations know about it.

Michael Flynn was a decorated member of the military, too, so that doesn’t automatically confer “truth” to whatever they’re saying.

You are the only person I’ve ever seen who thinks poorly of Costco. They are highly regarded near-universally and have been treating their employees well and standing behind quality products for years while their competitors argued over a race to the bottom. Everyone loves Costco, you are just weird.
